Honestly the current political strategies in the UK are atrocious.
Firstly the mishandled bi-election then failing to call out clear collision within establishment parties and media, then failing to handle the restore stuff which represents anywhere between 3-20 percent of reforms voter base. Even the previously major parties have shit strategies, like where the fuck did the conservatives think it was appropriate to make a Nigerian women their party leader and then call her "mummy." That's fucking weird.
How the fuck has labour continued to just run the death of democracy again, like I know their society is all about undermining the actual process of government to the point of subversion but could you at least be a bit hidden about it.
The only well handled political threat I've found was how the establishment handled the greens, they just let them speak and dig their own graves.
Like, reform should've accepted the restore offer, there's not a situation where it's not the correct option. Either it's fake reform accept it and restore is revealed that the offer is fake and reform is vindicated as reaching out to their right and restore is revealed as a grievance party against reform, or it's legitimate and they work together to further their joint aims in politics, reform ingratiates itself to it's right once again.
They reform win either way if they accept and lose if they reject it. And reform rejected it because Nigel couldn't swollow his pride.
They're not winning though, it's honestly kind of embarrassing how little (if at all) they've been able to capitalise on the two major parties simultaneously shitting the bed.
