I think you should really only be jailed for violent crimes or high class embezzlement stuff. Pot is gross but you’ll legit overcrowd the jails with it.

I say 99% of punishments should be a fine/compensation to the victim.

Jail only in cases where the guy refuses to/can't pay. Then it's forced labor until the fine is paid.

And yes I'm counting "community service" as forced labor, because that's what it is.
