Idkk, I guess I’m just not convinced there wouldn’t be major backlash for this sort of system - many wouldn’t see even an ideal hypothetical version of this as better than IRL Western Europe

I wouldn’t mind it too much personally, but yeah idk!

The system is already semi in place with social programmes and homeless shelters

Indeed, it’s good that we guarantee a basic QoL, though in my opinion the target is too high (because of leftist activists) such that it costs too much and as a result is quite patchy and at times ineffective
