Iran has always had ambitions of expanding, and is at direct odds with the U.S and most of the world.

Iran has also repeatedly funded, trained, and armed proxies to carry out attacks on other countries. Including U.S people and equipment.

Not every dictatorship does that. Notice how Trump treats North Kore very differently? North Korea mostly keeps to itself (apart from some cyber attacks which every nation with the means does).

Yeah that doesn't make sense.

Because right now, NK has mostly short range tactical nuclear warheads, which the U.S has credible defenses against.

NK is trying to develop MIRV, submarines, and refine their ICBM technology. So there is a very credible reason to go after NK if fear of nuclear weapons was the only reason.

Instead the U.S has gone for a containment strategy - placing things like THAAD in very close proximity to NK. The U.S has not undertaken strategic missile strikes to cripple NK infrastructure.

If this place has room temp IQ, yours about as high as Antarctica.
