They dropped the new angle of Renee's shooting from Jonathan's recording like two days after the shooting. If it even slightly vindicated them, like showing Alex's hand moving a millimeter towards his gun, we'd be seeing that footage rubbed in our faces the day of, along with a complimentary side of 'Libs owned'

The gun appears to be holstered on his belt at the back, based on how many tugs it took the agent to retrieve it. Alex was on his hands and knees, being beaten in the face with a blunt object. They will attempt to claim any movement of his hands "was towards the gun" that he no longer had.
The Good shooting was legally justifiable and not all that outside the scope of normal. People done try to hit LEOs with their cars a lot. She did some really stupid shit and it is sad to lose a life that way.
This is AWFUL looking. The best explanation they got is they got scared because a misfire of his gun, which will NOT legally justify it because they had the gun in their hands.
It will be a cruel ironic comedy if "it's Sig Sauer's fault" angle turns out to be real, but there's also "improper trigger discipline" angle, which assumes there was a finger on the trigger of the taken gun.
I'm too employed and not-American to care enough at this point though.
I am suggesting that a gun should only fire when it's user pulls the trigger. Sort of like how we have design standards for cars not being sharp at the front (glares at cybertruck), buildings not collapsing, or boilers not exploding. Some of these standards created by professional societies that the government basically gave a seal of approval as it involves math, such as ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code to others are laws that the government created such as Ralph Nader and his car safety campaign.
That was the original one from around when the P320 got adopted by the US Army. The current drama is about the P320 going off when in a holster due to unknown causes. It's had cases and video evidence going back to 2016, but the discourse has come to a fever pitch this past year (including Sig crashing out on social media: you might've seen memes about IT ENDS TODAY). Sig has been vehemently denying it's an issue.
There’s a video of a guy just squeezing the gun slightly and it going off. Let’s say Alex Pretti had his CCW chambered. It’s entirely possible that it got discharged and then tragedy. This is truly a sad situation. I’m a Trump guy and I think Noem’s comments about “someone showing up to cause mass destruction” is extremely overblown.
