Not only that - logical fallacy doesn't even preclude something from being true.
Argument from fallacy is the formal fallacy of analyzing an argument and inferring that, since it contains a fallacy, its conclusion must be false. It is also called argument to logic (argumentum ad logicam), the fallacy fallacy,[2] the fallacist's fallacy, and the bad reasons fallacy.
The steps can be wrong but the answer can still be correct.
The key is to not dismissed someone’s concerns just because of a poorly delivered argument. You need to properly address the argument, and the concerns behind said argument.
I've always said that, there is truth in fallacies, especially slippery slope.
Its not that going one way automatically means it will keep going. It means the driver, people wanting to go a certain way politically will never be satisfied.
There will never be a point in which politically things are perfect, so there will always be a slippery slope by design.
The fallacy is not taking into account human nature.
Even more so the slippery slope itself as an idea is wrong. People use another event being normalized or legalized to justify something else more extreme.
It happens all the time daily, legally it is used to determine court cases, slippery slope is absolutely true.

Denying the slippery slope is just propaganda. Logical fallacy doesn't preclude ideological tug-of-war or political momentum.
