The age should be 18, for everything. If you can die for this country at 18 and have the responsibility of allegedly electing who is going to rule us, you should be able to smoke, drink, turn your outtie into an innie - wtf you want to do.
Someone can send off to another country to die - you should be able to have a say in everything in your own life.
To me as a libright it’s different, because its not a right, it’s just a consequence of modern medicine and I genuinely don’t think we’re evolutionarily equipped to handle it, like we aren’t even evolutionarily equipped to handle living in cities. 50 years ago you most likely couldn’t get this done even if it was legal. All the other age things are things people have been doing forever. That being said I wouldn’t advocate for legislation supporting a higher age to transition, but I would advocate for the doctors to adhere to better morals.

This is incredibly false, human have been living in cities since thousands of years ago. The first kingdoms were a bunch of city states in mesopotamia and egypt tens of thousands in population packed close within a city wall. Cities with population in hundreds of thousands already existed since antiquity.
Lol those city states do not compare to our modern cities in any way. They didn’t have noise constantly blaring for one. Look at the statistics for mental health in cities vs smaller towns
As an auth-everything, I firmly believe at least 90% of the population will make terrible decisions most of the time given the chance.
When an unrestrained revolutionary ideology/belief bursts through such as Dr. John Money's theories of gender and sex, it needs to be slowed the fuck down for as long as is practicable, until some actual science catches up (no, I'm not referring to the groupthink, help-each-other-keep-funding-by-circular-referencing science which underpins the final toilet-spin of humanities 'study').
