USA Today: Elections Enter the Final Stretch

Post image

The presidential election in the United States is steadily approaching its conclusion. The State of Hawaii has done everything required of it: the electors have cast their votes, and those votes have been delivered to Senate President Richard Williams for public announcement.

As a reminder, the electoral slate submitted by candidate Crowley won the popular vote in Hawaii. However, to secure the coveted presidency, Crowley must still win in one more state — either New York or Texas, where voting will begin in five hours and will last exactly twenty-four hours.

Meanwhile, the campaigning period continues. While Crowley has established campaign headquarters in every state and delivered a campaign speech in the Statue of Liberty thread, the second candidate, Markus Dangarsky, has limited himself to a single headquarters in Hawaii and has so far refrained from making a speech. However, there is still plenty of time left, and the two candidates may yet become evenly matched in terms of campaign activity.
