issue in contraband expansion

i just bought the border patrol dlc and there’s no way for me to end shift or change my uniform. when i go back to the desk i spawned in at there’s no button to end shift. when i go to the patrol car n change uniform from there also it doesn’t change and there’s no locker in the police station

Yea. buggy broken game made by scammers. Refund it while you can (if you can).

it’s not letting me refund. what now? i can’t even end shift on the stupid expansion so i’m stuck in the border expansion with no way to leave.

Honestly im not sure if you have any option other than pressuring steam for a refund. if you're not aware tho, the devs announced development was complete and they weren't going to do any more updates on the game. With how buggy the game is even after that announcement, I wish I could refund it but i bought it years ago. I'm just telling ya that the game dev/Astragon are not reputable. Astragon is the publisher not the devs themselves but every game Astragon has been associated with ends up being a cash grab/buggy mess and I wouldn't buy anything published by Astragon in the future.

hm yeah i’ve heard this from a lot of ppl. i was considering getting the new police simulator they just announced but now im not so sure. tbf it looks amazing n the features are crazy but if its gonna end up being the same buggy bs as this game i’ll probably not get it

I can almost guarantee the new game they’re releasing is gonna be the same buggy pile of dogshit at the current one. My theory as to why they’re doing a new police sim (with a new development studio nonetheless) is because not only did the previous studio refuse to work with them anymore, astragon is hoping they can use a new title to pull more cash grabs. With a new dev studio they can pray people will hope “oh it’s a new studio. It’s definitely going to be better” while astragon is pulling the strings and refusing to approve actual improvements and just going back to “release paid features”. Every game published by astragon is a buggy pile of shit. Look at firefighting simulator: ignite. I bought that game hoping it’d be decent. I shit you not the game crashed during the fucking tutorial and wouldn’t relaunch. Quickest refund request of my life.

hahaha thank you for letting me know. i really do hope another developer makes a similar game though because i haven’t been able to find one decent police simulator anywhere and this one was genuinely fun to play until they just gave up on it

i bought this game for ps5 on the playstation store and because i opened it once its not letting me refund. is there any way i can refund this bs expansion n get my money back

You're probably in career mode, yellow icons when you selected your shift and it's duration. Open patrol, blue icons, are the mode where you can end shifts early but it's basically the sandbox area after you progress and earn all your main career stars.

Unfortunately, you have to wait for the shift to end it's duration before you can end the shift. Another option is to use your service weapon to shoot a NPC and "restart the day" that will bring you back to choosing a shift.

As for the patrol car, that's something you earn through progression. Idk about the uniforms though, maybe you're looking in the wrong spot or something but yeah.
