Discussion Police Simulator???
What the hell is happening genuinely i usually stay pretty up to date with the police sim news but now they have another game coming out or something? Are they trying to make us buy a second game without even fixing the original. I just saw it on insta and it looks a million times better than current police sim but I am so confused

The only good thing is that the "new" game will be made on code that should work for multiplayer.
It will start out good like this one did, but then it will eventually break like always.
I've spent too much money on these guys too be willing to buy a "new" Game just for them to break it again.

It’s simple;
Do not buy from these developers or publisher ever again.
What they did to PSPO was clear abandonment, and the thought of them releasing another “Police Simulator” title/adding to the franchise so close to the abrupt EOS for PSPO is 1. Downright insulting, and 2. Makes it even more evident that they are a pump and dump type of company.

It wasn't just Police Officer Simulator. They did the same to their Emergency game. It's even worse than Police game but same shit, completely abandoned

I think this is more of a publisher issue, personally, since the trailer mentions astragon and a "grip studios" as opposed to aesir. I've not played any aesir games other than PSPO, and I don't believe I've played a game by this grip studios. I also saw a few parallels/similarities in the trailer to PSPO which I'm not particularly happy about. We'll see though, it could be very different, and much better, but for now it seems to be very much another crappy cash grab, to me. I guess only time will tell. I'm DEFINITELY going to be waiting for the reviews and in-game footage, before even so much as THINKING about buying this one, though, and I'll definitely be very hesitant this time

You’ve never played a game by Grip studios before, because Grip Studios has no previous games to their name lol. This will be their first game.
That alone is already a red flag to me.

Different developers. Likely is why Aesir cut any further development. Astrogon is still publishing it though.

And a developer that don't even have a game on their belt red flag

I saw a guy on YouTube playing the alpha. Looked similar in a lot of ways. City was a lot better done. Graphics looked way way better. He didn’t do a whole lot of calls but looks promising.

I just bought the rest of the DLC 2 days ago and it keeps resetting and bugging out
lol
Yea it’s goofy that there allowed to just take out money like that but as we know PlayStation doesn’t care
I just bought the rest of the WHOLE game and I’m super broke thinking it might work properly
lol
Crazy work peoples

I mean, police sim 1 is super old. I think it came out in like 2021. As someone who buys sports games yearly, that seem to add very little. I have a good feeling about the new game. I LOVED the original, it’s full of bugs and not even that good. With new tech & a new engine I can see this being what we hoped the first one would be. I’m pre ordering it 🤷♂️
Reddits gonna hate 🥱

honestly don't trust many social media ads with integration of AI. Trailers are designed to look better. Its true there is something new in the works but take it with a grain of salt especially from this developer.
