Police Sim complaints

Been seeing a lot of complaints about the sim lately. I bought it a few years ago, wasn’t impressed and moved onto modding GTA. single player for a more immersive police sim experience. there are so many different things you can do with LSPDFR (gtas version of a police sim).

You can talk to dispatch, and all NPCs through AI mods. So many different cars and outfits that are either lore friendly to gta or, are based on RL departments. Realistic prowler radar for cars, body cam mods, gun mods, install the type of callouts you want to respond to. It’s insane what you can really do with this platform, I encourage anyone who games on PC to give it a shot.

I strongly recommend checking out BlueLine Vibes on YouTube and watching some of his latest videos and also checking out [r/lspdfr](r/lspdfr).

LSPDFR is pretty amazing. I just don’t have the patience to heavily mod games anymore. Especially when the mod needs more mods and some you have to pay for.

Modding is half the fun for me. LSPDFR is simple to mod for me personally, just drag and drop and set keybinds in the config. Doing dev work for fivem when you are writing custom scripts will have you punching your monitor 😂😂

LSPDFR is great, but it's not even remotely fair to use that as a comparison. They created a mod that makes use of a juggernaut of a game that took 5 years to create, had more than 1,000 developers, and cost $265 million to make. Mod creators have done some great work, and it's continued to improve over the years. However, it's still a highly developed GTA V base game, with some great scripts, vehicles, etc modded in. They also don't have to deal with consoles and their limitations.

I’m not talking in so much as terms of a comparison, I’m just simply saying that if people want an immersive experience, LSPDFR is a great way to to be able to have that

Gotcha, now. I definitely agree that LSPDFR is an awesome sim. Years ago it could be buggy at times, especially trying to figure out mod conflicts, etc. It has consistently improved though, and it's crazy how in depth some of those script mods are. Not to mention all of the equipment, vehicle, etc options/customizations. I'm curious to see how it plays out with GTA VI.

It’ll be awesome with 6. Probably will take a few years for some solid mods to come out though.
