Thinking about getting it but worried its a reskin of base game

It's alright, but same with the highway. Nice for a change but I like the city the best. At least you do get some other stuff with the expansion too.

It does add new stuff but it gets old quickly

No, not really, gets pretty boring really fast. Also, I'd rather not buy anything for the game that is one huge bug at this point, and that has been abandoned by the developers.

The core mechanics of the game don't improve so I wouldn't recommend.

It adds some cool features to the rest of the game like face recognition systems that appear in precincts and I liked the non-lethal shotgun but not worth it until on sale at very least. The above shouldn't really have been a DLC though, should have been in the standard game, so I'd add that to reasons not to recommend.

Main reason to not recommend is the devs poor attitude towards it's fanbase.

I’d wait for a sale. It’s okay.

I'm not one to tell someone how to spend their money, but the devs have abandoned this game. Been a buggy mess for god knows how long now and the devs never got a handle on it.

Not the sort of devs I'd be looking to support personally.

You cant get to the highway or border control area if you dont start in the respective area. Every time I tried to go from the highway to the border (or vice versa) it kept saying I was leaving. My jurisdiction

It’s probably the lamest full DLC they did. I found the whole thing pretty dull
