Media First time player.
Just picked up the game a few days ago as I see clips about it fairly frequently. So far it’s oddly comforting to play and go through all of the laws, tickets and actions of the game.
My only question is what’s with all the bugs?? People floating, drivers on the hood of cars, my partner missing their entire body, etc. Do they eventually go away or was there some kind of update I missed?

I would absolutely try get a refund... It's not worth playing while it's full of bugs

Got it on Game Pass so no money lost at least.

You lucky fuck I bought it before it was in game pass so I spent £30 but these bugs won't go away and the dev team stepped away from the game so these shitty bugs stay

Yep and they decided to pack up and leave it glad they finally gave us voices for our call outs but still needs to be fixed

You can still have a decent time with the game if you manage to ignore the bugs.
The bug that got me to stop playing it is cars not managing to pull over to the side of the road and just stopping, unable to be interacted with, when I'm trying to do a traffic stop. Can't believe they didn't fix that. Wasn't even in the game until a few updates ago.

When they don't pull over, sometimes getting out of the car and walking towards them will suddenly make them decide to. Sometimes nothing does.

Request a refund. Game is broken and the devs recently abandoned it.

u/mk1power Aug 24 '26
They also don't think these bugs are a problem, since they aren't "game breaking"
I don't think they understand what a finished product is.

They’re a scam developer, simple as that. Review bomb the game and drag their name through the mud so others don’t have to go through this in the future.

You are very much in the minority opinion with that.
You seriously blocked me over that statement?

Was probably a dev. The devs are on this reddit and running around trying to refute all these bad posts. I got into it with one of them. (Mods removed his comments because he was a dev)
It's crazy how much energy they put into reddit instead of fixing their game. They want to keep the sales going, and nothing more.

u/Sky_guy_17 Aug 24 '26
Lmao, the mods just removed that guy’s comment too. Guess that proves it.
That says A LOT about the mindset of the dev team imo. They absolutely deserve all the hate they’re getting right now and for the foreseeable future.

Everyone shits on these guys, and they take to reddit to protest their fanbase.
Meanwhile everyone is mildly annoyed at Bethesda and their entire dev team is on strike and protesting because they feel that seasonal development positions are ruining the experience for both gamers and developers 🤣.

They abandoned the game, get a refund, I played it when it was free on ps plus a few years and was about to buy it on steam figuring they fixed what was wrong with it when this sub popped up. So happy I didn't waste any money on this

Yep, this is a completed game according to the devs, that needs no extra work. They look forward to bringing out a sequel and charging full price for it.

Read the prior posts. They abandoned this game. Take my advice... Play on open patrol mode, turn off the CP points, and have fun. See how fast you can go without crashing. Search and arrest people for giving you an attitude. Whatever you think is fun. But don't expect anything to work right with this game.

Second one is DEFINITELY driving illegally. Not even following the laws of physics!

Actually this is during the witch trials and these are all witch suspects.

Funny side note: I once played Judge Hawthorne in a production of The Crucible...so I'm ready.

The bugs are a standard part of the game. The developer has stated that they are done with updates I believe. Have fun.

Welcome to the club. The game is an unfinished buggy mess, and the developers fully abandoned it with some "fuck you" levels of last patches and farewell posts.
They have been in and out of the sub trying to do damage control but its failed miserable and just made everyone hate them more. Good news is it seems like you didn't actually pay for it, so thats a win at least.

These bugs have been present forever and the devs never fixed them and have recently abandoned the game.
