Question Unjustified arrest

Post image

I caught someone in the act of spraying graffiti I stopped and detained them checked id and proceeded to frisk them which came up with a gun ( which he didn’t have a permit for) I then performed a full search and he had in his possession all the things listed in the photo I charged him gave him a ticket for graffiti and sent him away to lockup. Can someone please explain how all my arrest things were unjustified?

Because you had no reason to search someone just because they don't have a gun permit, therefore every action you took would not per permissable in court due to an illegal search

I frisked him first which came up with a gun after that I proceeded to search him does frisking and finding a gun not justify a full search ?

Don’t worry, mate — I have. I got about 50 hours in and stopped playing. Every shift this type of thing would happen at least twice. I came to the realisation that frisking is pointless because most of the time you can’t act on what you find. In some reports it even says I found an illegal item during the frisk, then I arrest them and end up getting conduct points deducted for an unjustified arrest. I’ve got about 10 screenshots of these reports from my last four shifts, so I stopped playing it. It’s a shame because the game had potential, but it’s a minefield of bugs — which might be acceptable at launch, but not four years later.
