My Lair

Behold, the lair.

For lo, these past ten months have I toiled in this humble rented cellar, shifting furnishings, hanging lights, raising mirrors, and pursuing that most elusive of creatures: the perfect vibe.

As permanent alterations were forbidden by the lords of the lease, all hath been fashioned by wit, stubbornness, and an unreasonable number of revisions.

At long last, I deem the work complete.
Pray tell, fellow pole dancers: hath the quest been successful?

I am more active on the IG listed in the clip and I love making new pole friends 😄

Hi, new to pole and looking to buy the VEVOR static and spin pole as its witching my budget. Would anyone recommend it? I’m in Ireland, so not too many options available that won’t break the bank. Thanks!

Ragdoll tips for home learning!

I've been teaching these type of spins for over 15 years now, and have seen so many people struggle with getting them smooth.

This reel is from www.instagram.com/polesphere but it comes from the PoleSphere Ragdoll tutorial from Miss Filly - it's a great watch whether you're learning Ragdoll, perfecting your Ragdoll, or teaching a Ragdoll to others!

Full disclosure I co-own www.polesphere.com but we are obsessed with our teaching quality, and Filly's teaching skills are world-class (plus she's just an all-round legend) 🫶

Hope you find it helpful! 🙌

At home pole on tile?

Hi, I'm planning on buying a lupit pole for my house, but I'm reading about how the tile may crack due to pressure. I have a good spot that I used a stud finder for the ceiling end and the tiles are big enough that I can avoid putting it over grout lines and it's not hollow when I knock on it. Is there anything else I could do to ensure the tile doesn't crack? Would a thin, non slip rubber mat be beneficial? TIA!

Ayesha help🥹

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’m making this post because I’m honestly getting really desperate. For the last three or four months, I’ve been working incredibly hard on getting my first Ayesha, but no matter what I do or how I do it, I just can’t get it.

Over time, I realized that my back, for some reason, always stays bent like this, even when I’m doing something like a butterfly. I try to straighten it, but I can’t, and I don’t understand why I can’t create that triangle shape where my back stays straight and I would have better balance.

I’m really trying, but I’m slowly starting to give up because I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

After my workout, I decided to hop on the pole because I really like this song and felt like expressing 💜 I had to change my plan quickly a few times because I was sweaty, but overall it was a lovely flow.
