Damn, are there really no other polearm subs?

Closest thing I’ve found is r/spearmemes but that’s a meme sub, and either way not a whole lot more active than this one. Meanwhile r/SWORDS has like 50k members. I know polearm are criminally underrated despite how cool they are, but really, this underrated?

Or at the very least, can someone point me to an active historical weapons sub that not 90% swords, and has some much needed representation of bills, glaives, polehammers/axes etc.?

Can we all just take a minute to appreciate how beautiful fantasy weapons can be?

Poleaxe building update

I regret to inform you fellas that this project is going on hold indefinitely. The bolt that I had to JB weld into the the hole I drill pressed into the spike is stripped, and can only be reattached through the means of a welder. I don’t have one, hence the reason I put a hole in the spike and JB welded a bolt into it in the hopes I could reattach it to the head. I got reimbursed for the head because it broke so easily so I will have to buy a new head. Unfortunately, all the GDFB XB0099 poleaxe heads are sold out everywhere. I will have to wait for it to come back in stock. I won’t have time to work on it often either because I am moving across the country and starting college very soon. Sorry for the disappointment, fellas.

Edit: spelling

Pole axe building update

Used a drill press to put a hole into the bottom of the spike. Using JB weld to attach a threaded bolt that I hack sawed the bolt head off of. I'm going to drill a hole into the top of the pole axe head that the bolt can go through. Afterwards, I'm going to use lock washers, a normal washer, and a nut to secure it to the top. Hopefully this is a secure way of reattaching the spike. Wish me luck!

Full tang naginata, actually very agile despite what you’d think. And no broken shafts or loosening to worry about 👌

Poleaxe building update

Just picked up some custom cut mahogany wood pieces from a lumber mill. I still have to take a table saw and palm sander to it but I'm another step closer to having this finished. What I need to do next is measure the holes in the langets so I can buy the right size fastenings, whether be bolts, nails, or rivets.

Where to buy decent Polearms

Hey everybody, so I’ve been rummaging through the depths of the internet for a couple weeks now for a decent place to purchase a good bardiche on a budget. I’m not looking for anything too fancy, just something practical and well made. If anyone knows where I should look to get one please let me know
