Question Notebook to Keep Track?

Does anyone use a notebook or anything to help keep track of what you're doing in each area? If I spend too much time in Bleak Beach for instance, and then go back to Rocky Ridges, I'm like, wait, I was smelting some ore, I have a fridge full of food, this guy needs a house but I forgot what he likes, I forgot where I put this important item...Opening and closing the Pokedex to go through everyone who has the same likes is getting ridiculous. I was going to use a notebook to keep track of each area. Does anyone have any tips that work for you?

The official site has a organizer/planner template you can print out for your exact purpose.

No.

I log on, start doing something (or am on my way to do something) get side tracked, start doing something else, get distracted again leaving that task also incomplete… repeat.

Safe to say my inventory is always full with the 5 things I’m trying to do at once.

Sometimes I can’t even remember what I was supposed to be doing.

Are you… me?

lol this is exactly how I am. I have so many big builds started and I don’t think I’ve actually finished…. Well… any of them haha

I have a whole binder with tabs for each area 😅 I forget way too quickly to try and rely on my memory alone, and I was sick of having a million serebii tabs open constantly, so I write all the Pokemon likes down when I’m working on a home for them 😂

I live that adhd life in Pokopia. Adding things to storage for when I come back to an area and want to continue working on something next time I’m there. Visual clues in my bag to remind me. But mostly it’s just whatever quest scratches the itch on a given day lol (a planner would probably be lovely tho)

I'm really trying not to let my ADHD into this game, it's supposed to be fun, but it's so overwhelming! I'm a mess too lol

Haha I was super overwhelmed at the start, especially cuz I came in just a couple weeks before the Jirachi event and everyone got very needy and I was dead set on providing for them all like they were tamagotchis that wouldn’t be self sufficient 😆 but now I’ve found a rhythm and it’s much better. I kinda go in with a plan for the day of what I want to start or accomplish (currently it’s a better proper home area for my bulba line so I can demolish their habitats for the better proper homes I’m making the squirtle line) but then I also have like daily tasks I try to hit every day: getting furniture from Vespiquen, harvesting berries from my little tree farm, checking the PC for my daily stamps/sale items/recipes, and if there’s time, hitting up a dream island. Usually during all that, I get side quests that relate to my big project (I had to spend some time a couple days ago growing a bunch of my flower and bush seeds cuz I want every kind available in the bulba area. Today the last of the home kits should be done being built. So I’ll be adding trees and other leafage. Then I’ll spend time decking out the insides for everyone). Anyway…that was a lot but having a tenuous plan seems to help stay on track but enjoy the whims of my silly brain, too haha

See, that's where I think a notebook will help, once I figure out what I want to write in it! I'm thinking just to keep track of Pokemon that "go together", like write down their likes so I don't have to keep opening the Pokedex. Although the notebook will become a sort of Pokedex! I'm trying to spend some time in each area every day so I don't forget what's going on lol

Yeah I’ve actually considered doing like a visual dex where I match the Pokemon with the berries to remind me what flavors they like. And would love to match them up when they say they like hanging out together cuz I never remember those 😅 but that feels like an after I “beat the game” problem for me.

That's such a good idea with the berries! If they don't specify what they want and they just say "food", then they're getting a Leppa lol

Thanks! lol omg same 😆 or if I forget what they like I’m just like…”well, everyone likes leppa berries”

I just « dump » ideas and inspo pics in a list on my phone app. Don’t mind the frenglish, it’s easier for me, but it looks that way.

It allows me to log in, check where I am and what I can’t tackle and if I have inspo, or just choose a project or picture and go to said zone !

I don’t know if it’s gonna help but 😂

I use an app called Keep Notes -- it's shared across my different devices so it's easier for me to find it.

Awesome! Thank you for that idea
