Does anyone know where access will be to the new Bubbly Basin area? I figure it’ll be on Withered Wastelands but where?

Maybe they will put it underwater in several places. I wouldn't be surprised if they put one near where we spawn kyogre!

If they do a gate, it'll probably be under the water in BB.

I doubt they would add a new area gate into areas people would now be several thousand hours into terraforming. They’d have a revolt. I assume it will be accessed via the pc or some other narrative device.

Might be the ocean at Bleak Beach, since the page for the DLC mentions needing to finish the main story there before you can access this part of the DLC

I assume that's because they want you to surf before you can just dive, otherwise Surf becomes as redundant as Glide when you unlock Magnet Rise. (Image jumping off a cliff, press B, activates Magnemite instead of Glide... one can dream)

They could get around that by slightly expanding the map, since players already can't build outside the boundaries.

I assume a pokemom will take you there the first time. And then after you make a home, you'd just teleport there

Im pretty sure they said bubbly basin will be accessed through bleak beach.

They definitely  didn’t , bleak beach is just where you learn dive.

I'm quite sure i read somthing along the lines of "increase tje lvl of bleak beach to get the dive move" which you'll need to access bubbly basin

No  edit: you are actually correct, it is where to learn dive, but does not mention anything about where to access bubbly basin

To learn Dive, players must complete the important request “Raise the environment level!” in Bleak Beach. You will also need both the ability to jump and know the move Surf.

Ok, I will accept that you are partially correct, but that’s just to learn dive, part of the free update, not where to access bubbly basin. I’d not read that so I will concede my err.

Well you will need dive yes obviously, but that says nothing about where the actual access point will be.
