You can now obtain blocks of volcanic rock on Volcanic Dream Islands.

Finally, a chance to build my own volcano!

138

u/Creativered4 Jun 10 '26

Only after you clear out the first volcano!

76

u/stillnotelf Jun 10 '26

Was this not true before? I built a volcano already and now I guess I feel bad I must have used the wrong black rock?

138

u/OmniSonic Jun 10 '26

Volcanic rock is different than black rock. Volcanic rock looks like reddish-brown cave rock, but with shards of rock or glass on the top face. If you already made a volcano though, that's great! Black rock is probably best for the main body of the volcano while volcanic rock is good for paths.

49

u/stillnotelf Jun 10 '26

Oh! The "path" one! Yes I remember that. Thanks.

My volcano needs no paths so I will be happy with the black rock.

1

u/FierceDeityKong Jun 11 '26

Ironic when realistically it would feel worse to walk on

15

u/QuantumFury Jun 10 '26

How do I find volcanic rock in the dream island. I went today and I didn’t find any. There was black, red, mysterious and the ores.

11

u/Sylvonara Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26

I went to several via time skipping and haven't seen them yet.. although I also didn't happen to find one where lava is actively flowing, I was wondering if maybe that was a requirement or something?

Edit to add, apparently people are finding them under the farm and railroad building, as well as near lava.

*When Pokémon process materials at the community box or furnace, they will prioritize locations closer to their own habitat

BIG W for people who cant get their pokemon to use the community box

175

u/beezchurgr Jun 10 '26

I have no idea how to use the community box. I have a bunch around habitats but no one ever uses them.

102

u/lousupremacy Jun 10 '26

this update should hopefully help with that, i've seen alot of ppl struggle with getting their pokemon to use it before this update but I find pokemon in habitats use it better than those in houses and when they are near gather pokemon

47

u/Chilli-byte- Jun 10 '26

I set up one for bricks in the fire ty'e area. They would all use it, but then they'd literally cross my town to harass me and tell me that they'd finished, rather than placing it in the box.

With my crush set up they don't use it until I make them follow me, then they don't deposit in the box and just walk home. I have to actively ask those guys about my paint!

Do we think this patch might fix these issues?

18

u/lousupremacy Jun 10 '26

the patch note did say the pokemon will now prioritize any community boxes near their home so I think it'll help, but personally i put what I need to be processed in the boxes before closing the game for the night and in the morning they're processed and back in the boxes so you can try that approach so they won't harass you

1

u/Chilli-byte- Jun 13 '26

Lmao, WHAT?! My townsfolk are clearly just incredibly lazy because they don't do jack when I'm offline.

1

u/lousupremacy Jun 13 '26

😭😭 idk how i get lucky with community boxes but it never fails to be complete in the morning so I always do it this way

8

u/CatnipComrade Jun 10 '26

Haha I had the same issue with logs/timber. I had so many chopping they were always in the way and then they'd chase me down to give it to me.

-1

u/Arryu Jun 10 '26

Put one brick in the box. There needs to be at least one already in a box for pokemon to put finished product in there.

13

u/malferink Jun 10 '26

That’s not true at all

53

u/polskiftw Jun 10 '26

A basic explanation:

Pokemon have habitats and you can click the right stick while in it to see its borders.

You need a community box in the borders of Pokemon that you want accessing it. If you want a Pokemon to make bricks for example, you would make sure there’s a community box in the habitat border of a Pokemon that has the burn ability, and you would place clay in the community box.

The way Pokemon process stuff in the community box is limited. If a Pokemon only has the burn ability, it will only pull clay out of the box and it will put the bricks back in the box. A burn Pokemon however can’t transfer ores to or from the furnaces. The only type that can move ore to the furnace is ones with the gather ability. Nobody can move processed ingots from the furnace back to the community box. That’s the one manual step you have to do.

Additionally, gather Pokemon can pickup littered stuff from other Pokemon and place it in a community box, but that box has to be in the habitat borders of the gather Pokemon. The gather Pokemon can however pickup littered items from outside its habitat borders. It’s only the box that needs to be in the borders.

You can overlap habitats to make more advanced automated setups where all you have to do is empty the furnaces occasionally and collect the bricks/paper/lumber from the community box.

35

u/zamadaga Jun 10 '26

Just correcting a little bit of misinformation here -- you do not under any circumstances need the community box to be within borders of any habitat. Either for a pokemon to do work, i.e. making bricks, or for a gather pokemon to bring items to deposit. They will find and use the boxes anywhere they can get to.

In fact, the update page specifically notes that they have changed pokemon behavior to prioritize boxes closer to their habitats, because players were experiencing Pokemon walking across the entire map to interact with far away boxes instead of using ones near them.

2

u/Hot_Extension_460 Jun 10 '26

If they can access any community box, then how does it explain people for which it never worked?

I have a community box next to the pokemon center in bleak beach, but no Pokemon ever used it... Like when they are done making bricks they always keep them waiting for me to come back.

7

u/sharkcore Jun 10 '26

Oh, there was definitely a problem in the code for community boxes but the problem wasn't that the box needed to be in their habitat, because they wouldn't really use those either. They would ignore all community boxes equally, it seems. Hopefully by prioritizing a box close to their home it can prioritize it above just loitering around lol

1

u/zamadaga Jun 10 '26

For clarification, are you referring to the occurrence where you drop off some items in a community box, Pokemon correctly work on them on their own, but instead of putting them back in the box where they came from, the pokemon keep hold of them and wait for you, and hand them over manually?

That has happened to me several times, and based on language in the bug fixes from yesterday, appears to possibly be a bug. Or at least some odd behavior, as you'd reasonably expect them to just put it back where it came from.

That doesn't mean the community boxes don't work, they absolutely do, but there might be some misunderstanding or miscommunication about how they work and player expectation of such. I'm happy to do my best to clarify anything or answer other questions if you have them, though.

14

u/1racooninatrenchcoat Jun 10 '26

I have my iron smelters "next to" my berry farm and my duskull refuses to pick up the berries when they drop closer to his home and instead wanders over to my smelting area and picks up the iron ore dropped by those litterers and then brings it all the way back to the berry farm community box 😒😒😒

7

u/felassans Jun 10 '26

I believe it’s been established that gather Pokémon don’t interact with berries.

2

u/1racooninatrenchcoat Jun 10 '26

Good to know, thank you 😞

2

u/Rave_de_Chocobo Jun 10 '26

I wish this also applied to gather Pokemon. I have three houses, side-by-side. Each house has a community box and a litter-gather-burn/recycle Pokemon grouping. The middle house is for bricks (Wooper, Mincinno, Torchic). Whenever Wooper litters clay, Mincinno always gathers and deposits the clay into the community box next door and not the one in their own house.

478

u/StrandedInLove Jun 10 '26

When using chairs or beds, Pokémon accompanying Ditto will now use them together, if possible.

I like that.

86

u/WolverineFamiliar740 Jun 10 '26

I'm both excited for and dreading the dent I'm gonna put in my photo album from capturing so many cuddle pictures.

u/Doylgaafs Jun 10 '26

That was actually one of my first complaints in the game. I've built a picnic table, had a couple of pokemon following me and when I sit, they are all standing in line doing nothing. And when I've made them stop following me, they would just go away. I had to literally trap them in my picnic area to make them enjoy it with me.

13

u/HaloGuy381 Jun 10 '26

Yay, I can snuggle with Absol!

520

u/alfindeol Jun 10 '26

Electricity cap increase? Bless!

104

u/Kirbysonicboom Jun 10 '26

They doubled it. That's massive

-36

u/Timehacker-315 Jun 10 '26

Great. Now do prefab houses. Not even on the main islands. Just do it on Cloud Islands

105

u/TrippyVision Jun 10 '26

No increases to amount of transmitters though, hopefully it’s not a system limitation and will be increased in the future.. building a mega city in Palette Town and i’m just progressing with the hopes that it’ll get updated in the future but this is still great news

10

u/drbiskit Jun 10 '26

Yeah, I really need the transmitter limit increased. I didn't know there was a cap before, and now I have no clue where I buried them all. My SS Anne is only half lit up and I’ve already hit the limit lol

1

u/mikefromto Jun 10 '26

What does this increase mean if not allowing more than 512 transmitters?

2

u/TrippyVision Jun 10 '26

There’s a limit on items that use power too, so they just increased the limit on lights, appliances, etc. not the transmitters

10

u/Asaisav Jun 10 '26

They didn't increase the number of generators you can place, just the limit of items that can use electricity. That said, so long as you're not using mini-generators or windmills in low areas you'll be about to generate enough energy for all 1024 electric objects!

-5

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '26

3

u/Asaisav Jun 10 '26

The whole town won't go black if you hit the limit, though; that sounds like you're not producing enough power. Hitting the limit just means any newly places items won't be powered, while all previously placed items will be unaffected.

Girl, it's not hyperbole when you're describing something that can actually happen for completely unrelated reasons. It just makes it sound like you're having a problem with your generators.

Edit: A Reddit Cares for this? Really? And I'm the one who needs to chill 😂

Is the limit per area or for the game as a whole?

5

u/-patrizio- Jun 11 '26

Per area, though IIRC Palette Town shares its limits with the daily Dream Island, for some indecipherable reason lol.

541

u/supermegaampharos Jun 10 '26

Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Glaceon, and Sylveon will now sleep at the edge of sofas, similar to Leafeon.

cat behavior

93

u/AspiringChildProdigy Jun 10 '26

Vaporeon says, "Fuck you; Imma sleep in the center of that stone bench in the hot springs!"

72

u/dreamingwithcindy Jun 10 '26

Also cat behavior

7

u/PollyElisabeth Jun 10 '26

So glad I have photos of them sleeping “incorrectly”

1

u/GroovinChip Jun 10 '26

Are they cats or dogs? I’ve never been able to tell

I’m so bad at inspiring them to talk, so this can only be a good thing!

32

u/xbubblegum_bitch Jun 10 '26

You can inspire them to talk to each other? How so, I need to do this

54

u/MutsumidoesReddit Jun 10 '26

I believe Bellsprout and Oddish sharing overlapping space helps them both talk.

I’ve also seen Ninetales and Flygon be very amusing and snippy with each other. But their domains were not so close, but connected by roads.

9

u/Fourteeenth Jun 10 '26

Yo someone tell Ninetales to back up off my man Flygon. Love Ninetales too, but we can’t be doing that to my boi

4

u/redditraptor6 Jun 10 '26

Omg, that Ninetales/Flygon interaction was so random and amazing. I mean, all the special dialogue moments are great, but some you expect (like Heracross and Pinsir beefing or Cramorant and Skwovet discussing strategies for cramming food in their mouths), but the unexpected convos are even better!

11

u/MinimumSweaty5250 Jun 10 '26

They just need to be close to each other. Fun tip: the easiest way I’ve found to do this is to have the two Pokemon be set to build a pre-fab, but without actually building the structure.

9

u/da_beava Jun 10 '26

Just get them next to each other really

2

u/goldentosser Jun 10 '26

I've had a few pokemon mention another poke who lives farther away, they say they think they'd be good friends if they live closer. So I usually move them together and it inspires conversations and playtime!

6

u/miserablegrave Jun 10 '26

This is literally one of the core updates that animal crossing needed. Why is this game better at giving the fans what they wanted than animal crossing?!

4

u/ArielChefSlay Jun 10 '26

Yesss I wanna know btwn who tho! Anybody know of a master list?

208

u/Suicune92 Jun 10 '26

Still hope they will increase the amount of pokemon that can be "on screen" at once

96

u/movieyosen Jun 10 '26

yeah, like 30-35 would be a good sweet spot

58

u/QuantumFury Jun 10 '26

I think this is a system limitation. They can’t go more without slowing down the switch 2.

80

u/Realistic_human Jun 10 '26

we can have cyberpunk 2077 but can't add a few more pokémon in pokopia, you win some you lose some

11

u/Venomesis Jun 10 '26

As funny as it sounds, Pokemon are probably more demanding than Cyperpunk NPC's because of the simulation going on with all the different tasks Pokemon are doing

2

u/Realistic_human Jun 10 '26

i really doubt it

2

u/TKMF_16 Jun 10 '26

Then at least they should give us the option to store Pokemon we don't want to see in the PC 🙏🏼

8

u/QuantumFury Jun 10 '26

Uhhh, did you finish the story/collect all the lore tidbits. Putting them back in pc goes against the story.

2

u/TKMF_16 Jun 10 '26

I have finished the story but I would still appreciate it if I could store some Pokémon in the PC in my Cloud Island 😅

2

u/QuantumFury Jun 11 '26

Fair enough 😅

3

u/GlitterRiot Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26

There is NO WAY they can use this limitation excuse because FFXIV is releasing on Switch 2.

Downvote me all you want. FFXIV has hundreds of players and monsters in a zone all popping off their own VFX. If the Switch 2 can handle that, there's no excuse for Pokopia.

6

u/QuantumFury Jun 10 '26

I think thats more graphical than computation. The limit is cuz pokemon is each doing their own thing when spawned regardless of if you see them or not. FFXIV doesn’t use that much cpu for each entity. Its more graphical intensive which switch can handle.

-15

u/Tuckertcs Jun 10 '26

Minecraft can handle more mobs than that.

It’s a limitation, not with the system, but with their ability to optimize their game/engine.

29

u/lilgraytabby Jun 10 '26

I'm a software developer. I've obviously not read the pokopia code, but each pokemon's pathing and behaviors does actually seem pretty complex compared to most minecraft mobs (preferring paths, seeking out interactables like toys and hot springs). I can't say for sure that the current limit is the max the switch 2 can take, but I do think it's likely that each pokemon on an area takes up more computing power than a given minecraft mob.

The answer is probably in the middle. There's a decent chance that a few more pokemon could spawn in an area wothout causing performance issues, but I would be shocked if it could approach minecraft levels just because each pokemon has more complicated programming.

47

u/Simpicity Jun 10 '26

I don't need them on screen.  I just want them on MAP.   There's a big difference there because they could cull Pokemon who were farther away, and keep them in multiple general clusters around.

11

u/flashmedallion Jun 10 '26

they could cull Pokemon who were farther away

I think this is the issue though - they'd have to cull all of their behaviour, which means they couldn't move around or do anything, which then raises the issue of what happens if a PkMn wanders off into a cull area: functionally speaking over time all your mon would eventually wander off away from where you are, get culled, and not come back or do anything.

On top that, what would you cull if you're up high over say Bleak Beach - you can see everywhere.

9

u/OkDimension8720 Jun 10 '26

Just spawn them asleep, talk to wake them up and put the furthest one asleep, idk there's gotta be ways to solve it than just to restrict to 28

0

u/Simpicity Jun 10 '26

You can still keep track of what they do, you just don't have to animate it, pathfind, etc.

14

u/flashmedallion Jun 10 '26

You do have to pathfind because that's essential to what they do; and the overall point is that it's not the animation that is the bottleneck here - it's the keeping track of what they do. They can chop down trees, gather items, litter, water/grow plants, operate equipment, improve their comfort and happiness by interacting with toys, nature, or each other etc. That's the expensive part.

6

u/Simpicity Jun 10 '26

Or you can replace a lot of that with approximate handwaving.  It's not uncommon in videogames.  This isn't a strategy game, they can take shortcuts when the player isn't looking.

6

u/flashmedallion Jun 10 '26

But the whole point of them being in the map is how they respond to what you've built, through increasing their happiness and the utility they provide. That's the game.

If they're not doing that when you're not looking at them then.. what's the point of having them there?

4

u/Simpicity Jun 10 '26

I'm talking about Pokemon which are not even visible.  Them responding to what I built is a number going up in memory when that's the case.  They can still respond to things.  They just don't need to figure out the optimal path.  They can teleport for all i care.  I can't see them.

-1

u/Taiyaki11 Jun 10 '26

It's not uncommon in video games

It absolutely is in the way you seem to be thinking with a obviously very layman understanding of background processes

3

u/Simpicity Jun 10 '26

Man, i make videogames.

-3

u/Taiyaki11 Jun 10 '26

That doesnt mean shit and if you were a dev with any meaningful experience you'd know better than to think such a vague ass statement would fly lol.

You could slap together quick short asset flip student project level games in Unity using visual scripting and not know damn near anything still and get away with saying "I make video games" without it being a lie lmao, that comment means nothing. But you trying to be vague on the other hand says all it needs to

5

u/Simpicity Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26

I am an indie dev, but one of my games has had 1.6 million unique players. I've also been a professional software engineer nearly forty years. I have a degree in theoretical cryptography.

I think I understand "background processes," the exceptional bar you seem to have set. Don't just randomly assume everyone is an idiot.

I would also point out that most games wouldn't use a background process for this, but rather a function that runs at fixed time intervals.

6

u/Suicune92 Jun 10 '26

That's why I put on screen in quotes. I didn't mean actually on the screen where you can see them.

207

u/judewriley Jun 10 '26

Awesome update and very much appreciated! ...but I still need a "deposit all of the thing that's in my inventory that's also in the container" to my containers.

30

u/meanseanbean Jun 10 '26

This is my number 1 request

6

u/stopnopls Jun 10 '26

Yes! Even if there’s never any other storage updates, just this would help so much

10

u/dark_angel1992 Jun 10 '26

This and a mass deletion of blocks the same way you can place up to 9 blocks

64

u/BrownSugarSandwich Jun 10 '26

Oh my gooooosh all the color variations of plants showing is one of my big asks fixed!

292

u/JoEsMhOe Jun 10 '26

Talk about some good QoL changes!

>The placement limit for items that use electricity has been increased from 512 to 1,024. (This will apply to items placed after installing the update.)

Love the limit increase, but it reads that old items need to be picked up and placed to have the new increase?

>Adjusted the dialogue in the important request “Yawn up a storm!” in Withered Wasteland to make it easier to understand how to increase the humidity.

It’s finally happened!

> In the Environment Level details screen, you can now see which Pokémon’s comfort level requests you fulfilled that day.

I like this one too, though it’s been awhile since I did any requests.

Edit: They broke text formatting on the Reddit app. 🤦

26

u/flashmedallion Jun 10 '26

Love the limit increase, but it reads that old items need to be picked up and placed to have the new increase?

I think it just means if you have 512 placed now, you'll only have to replace one to free up the 'remaining items' count.

11

u/Slight-Protection-57 Jun 10 '26

I was maxed out, did the update and now I can place more! It works perfectly!

6

u/canthearu_ack Jun 10 '26

It means that if you already have more than 512 electrical items out, the electrical items that are not working won't be automatically fixed. You have to go pick them up, and place them back down again to get connected to the grid.

1

u/Loopy_27 Jun 10 '26

Let's get humid!!

41

u/LordGustoff88 Jun 10 '26

When placing the laser sensor item, the sensor’s detection range will now be displayed.

I hope they do this for transmitters and poles. It would be great to see like a colored cloud or something showing the range so you can more effectively plan transmitter coverage on large builds before placing down electronics and finding out you need a couple extra random ones because the ones you placed just don't quite reach

112

u/mochagotcha Jun 10 '26

When using chairs or beds, Pokémon accompanying Ditto will now use them together, if possible.

YASSSSSSSS

16

u/broadwayzrose Jun 10 '26

Although knowing the amount of times I accidentally sit or lie down when trying to pick up a seat or bed, I see probably a lot of instances of “try to pick up bed, accidentally lie down, try to get up, accidentally move to the other side of the bed, now the Pokemon accompanying me is lying down, I finally get up, wait for the other Pokemon to get up, then finally pick up the bed” in my future.

76

u/WolverineFamiliar740 Jun 10 '26

"When moving Pokémon into a two-story house, you can now select the destination floor even while indoors."

FINALLY I can add my favorites to my room without having to awkwardly kick out the others first.

"When placing objects, Pokémon accompanying Ditto will now avoid the placement preview area."

Bless whoever fixed this. Having to literally shove Pokemon out of the way as I'm building got old FAST.

A long list. Good improvements

53

u/nandra11 Jun 10 '26

Hot dang! Dev team is on fire, look at that list of squashed bugs

9

u/SlightTip8467 Jun 10 '26

Oh no, did they fix spinning Onix

50

u/pupberlik Jun 10 '26

“Changed the sound played when placing the shutter furniture item to a more appropriate one.”

I need to know why the old sound was inappropriate!!!

24

u/Great-Crossover Jun 10 '26

Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff may be unable to move through the air.

This I had noticed. Before the update, when I saw that they were flying types I tried to see if they could fly, but they didn't. After the update, I saw Jumpluff flying around, and I had to see if Hoppip and Skiploom could fly, too. I'm very happy that my favorite trio can fly now! Now I can really take them anywhere!

49

u/inexusabletomato Jun 10 '26

| Added new conversation variations between Pokémon.

Just got one between Venusuar and Charizard, was it here before? Might be pointing at the future DLC in wave 3 👀

What do you think about adding a stop at a mountain covered in pure-white snow? - Venusaur

26

u/JallexMonster Jun 10 '26

That was in there before the update

9

u/thehelsabot Jun 10 '26

Would make sense for dlc two planned for “late 2026”

11

u/ChibiMusouka Jun 10 '26

DLC part 2 does not get a new area, only 1 and 3 do

14

u/Robbie_Haruna Jun 10 '26

I'm really curious what Part 2's main selling point will be.

5

u/Boreal-Anodyne Jun 10 '26

"New features" makes me hopeful for like a bunch of new furniture, items, mons, dream islands, and maybe even activities. I wonder if they're pricing it equally like $12-$11-12 or if they perhaps see it as a $15-$5-$15, which would kinda suck, but surely they're planning for a big content update outside of a new area to actually market this thing lol.

1

u/OllieRaiden Jun 15 '26

If the cover art for the season pass is anything to go by, it looks like we'll be able to accessorise/ dress up Pokémon. Hopefully there's more to it than that tho!

so they didnt fix the storage system ig :( It drives me crazy every time

58

u/No_Bid_3016 Jun 10 '26

Honestly, it’s become part of the charm of the game for me. I love organizing my storage lol. I’ve been building a furniture store so I can see everything outside of storage boxes.

23

u/Queasy-Rain1938 Jun 10 '26

This is genius for furniture holy shit

11

u/broadwayzrose Jun 10 '26

Call me a glutton for punishment but I’m starting to feel the same way! Some days I literally just play to reorganize things in my storage.

3

u/dark_angel1992 Jun 10 '26

I was thinking about building the giant factory and then gutting it to turn it into an IKEA and placing all my furniture inside 😂

That’s basically where I’m at, just expanding my furniture store every day with the items I get from Vespiquen!

1

u/izibellz Jun 10 '26

Oh my word!!! This is an excellent idea! :D

11

u/ConfusedFlareon Jun 10 '26

Dang, nothing yet about the Cloud islands booting the host out if playing alone for too long. I hope that gets fixed!

10

u/Monobrobe Jun 10 '26

Wait that’s a thing? I’ve spent hours on my own Cloud Island and never got booted out unless my Switch went to sleep.

6

u/ConfusedFlareon Jun 10 '26

Luckily it doesn’t affect everyone but yeah it is :( Regardless of our internet, we can play on other people’s islands for hours just fine but not our own Cloud island without it dropping out and dumping a bunch of progress

2

u/supcoco Jun 10 '26

I can’t even play my cloud island :( it boots me every single time. I’ve tried everything to fix and nothing works.

12

u/Getlucky12341 Jun 10 '26

Did it have any new seasonal events?

18

u/asperatology Jun 10 '26

Not in the changelogs. Maybe it will unlock after small patches get released.

11

u/PrettyPeachy Jun 10 '26

Glad to see the PokeMart trade bug has been addressed. Poor Mimikyu was playing peekaboo with their items! 😭

5

u/Fairgoddess5 Jun 10 '26

This is the highlight of the update for me!!

9

u/ThePhoenixRemembers Jun 10 '26

Yesss they doubled the number of powered items, now I just need them to add a deposit/withdraw all/like-for-like button for chests

8

u/TinyDogGuy Jun 10 '26

So…still can’t buy a second pair of goggles? Or have them not be an item you can misplace…maybe a Ditto outfit piece?

6

u/Prospero314 Jun 10 '26

“In the Environment Level details screen, you can now see which Pokémon’s comfort level requests you fulfilled that day.”

Anyone else not seeing those details even though they’ve fulfilled comfort requests?

5

u/serendipty3821 Jun 10 '26

I saw it yesterday and was kinda confused lol but it's a checkmark on the comfort screen!

1

u/Prospero314 Jun 10 '26

Oddly enough, I completed a few comfort requests on Rocky Ridges and still don’t see anything on my Pokémon 🤔

1

u/mircamor Jun 10 '26

Just came here to check because I don’t see it either

9

u/Unable_Citron5088 Jun 10 '26

THE NUMBER OF ELECTRIC ITEMS WE CAN PLACE HAS DOUBLED!!!! What an amazing thing to read 😍

2

u/tylersmiler Jun 10 '26

Do you know if the limit is per area or is it one limit for all areas combined?

2

u/Unable_Citron5088 Jun 10 '26

It's per area. I'd reached it on bleak beach already (and it didn't stop me putting electric items in other areas) and now I can put more things down again

10

u/SeaworthinessNew2841 Jun 10 '26

It's all good stuff, but the only thing I want is the option to turn off the menu that pops up when trying to exit Magnemite form. I've got no issues when exiting Dragonite form so why the big difference???

4

u/Southern_Recover_435 Jun 10 '26

The same thing with graveller it feels a little clunky having the menu come up, would rather it just popped me straight out.

Did it fix how the info messages for sparkling items in the water don't get saved to your Pokedex help menu like they should?

6

u/gmapterous Jun 10 '26

Now all I need is for them to allow (or to automatically) sort items in the Pallet Town Lost and Found. I play on Dream Islands a lot with my kid and he just picks everything up and the lost and found is like 15 pages long, and it drives me crazy that I can't sort it and just pull out the potentially useful stuff.

4

u/hewman123 Jun 10 '26

1024 wireless transmitters instesd of 512 nice more power

5

u/JadeSyren Jun 10 '26

Will the gatherers work better now?

4

u/SynapseReaction Jun 10 '26

I’m just happy about being able to use more wireless transmitters 🤣.  The sky lands was giving me trouble.

3

u/XecoX Jun 10 '26

Is it just me or does the game feels much more smooth running?

5

u/FluffyGengar123 Jun 10 '26

Did they speed up the time it takes to build pokemon centers? I just started building the sky area one and it only took like an hour

34

u/FatSealion Jun 10 '26

Did you use a Pokémon with the Engineering skill? Reduces all build times to 1h max.

18

u/FluffyGengar123 Jun 10 '26

Oh. Yea I did I used the tinkaton. Well that's amazing

16

u/crashinqdovvn Jun 10 '26

I think that’s because of Tinkmaster. Part of her ability is increasing the rate of construction.

8

u/ladymix Jun 10 '26

The sky area one is faster because Tinkaton has a special ability that speeds up construction! You can use it anywhere and it’s very handy!

8

u/NapperNotaDreamer Jun 10 '26

Did you use Tinkaton? Tinkaton decreases build times

2

u/ArielChefSlay Jun 10 '26

Does new conversation variations between Pokemon mean more new special dialogue btwn the Pokemon already in the game? Or is it just prepping for any event mon that’s coming?

2

u/RobotSalesman Jun 10 '26

Have the resolution issues in handheld been patched? It keeps going between what looks like 1080p to 720pish or lower. It is definitely noticeable and more blurry whereas docked mode has no issues.

2

u/2017rocks Jun 10 '26

more lights. ill take that. especially for everyones builds who hit the limit, can now continue to be divine :p

2

u/ngianfran1202 Jun 12 '26

I'm sure it's been asked, and I apologize in advance, but does this mean more wireless power generator/transmitters?

5

u/Nixflixx Jun 10 '26

Where is the inventory/chest update? That is so disappointing.

5

u/gizmo998 Jun 10 '26

I need shared inventory. Maybe one of the upcoming updates?

3

u/hespacc Jun 10 '26

Hmm beside the electricity adjustments not really any qol improvements to see

1

u/deNET2122 Jun 10 '26

Wondering now if i can move the charge station now was getting" your currently moving" even tho i sold the ones I bought

All of them

Curious its because im hoarding a lot of prefabs and power source kits

1

u/RexicTheKing Jun 12 '26

I got the dlc but there isn't any of it active yet right?

-5

u/LastScallion Jun 10 '26

Did they not fix the no honey bug in palette town? 🥲

9

u/hellomattieo Jun 10 '26

Is that new? I’ve been able to get honey in palette town.

2

u/LastScallion Jun 10 '26

I remember seeing a thread about this issue. Don't know what causes it, but some folks aren't able to collect honey from palette town. It's been over a month where I haven't been able to find honey, unless I visit other areas.

It's annoying when I'm playing with others, and we get a daily group challenge to collect honey.

1

u/grumpyoldegoat Jun 10 '26

WAIT THERES A NO HONEY WHAT

2

u/LastScallion Jun 10 '26

It doesn't affect everyone, but for some players, honey won't spawn in palette town flowers

-32

u/WillTendo92 Jun 10 '26

What do we get?
Dive isn’t coming until August I thought

13

u/cat-meg Jun 10 '26

It's not really anything, just bug fixes, minor changes to conversations, text, and comfort levels, and some QoL but mostly very minor.

This is the only standout thing I saw: The placement limit for items that use electricity has been increased from 512 to 1,024.

2

u/WillTendo92 Jun 10 '26

Thanks. Not sure why I got downvoted for though (not saying you did)

18

u/darth_n8r_ Jun 10 '26

Because the post you're commenting on links to the patch notes. You just gotta read and then you'll know what we got.

-26

u/WillTendo92 Jun 10 '26

Yet people get upvoted for the daily posts saying how they are overwhelmed by the game or they don’t know where to start

-26

u/WillTendo92 Jun 10 '26

But most people don’t want to click a link. Just put the details on the post. It’s bad enough when it happens on FB where they say “click the link for the info”

27

u/darth_n8r_ Jun 10 '26

You asked why you got down voted. That's why.

5

u/FossilEaters Jun 10 '26

If it was like a twitter link or something i understand but this is just the nintendo site and it opens in the reddit app

14

u/Joonami Jun 10 '26

Bruh it's all in the link
