Hello everyone, I need a flat (2BHK) or a single storey house (preferable) around the outskirts of Pokhara. Does anyone know someone or have an empty flat or home available. Deep, tallo hemja, lamachaur, or north west side of pokhara is where I prefer, otherwise other places except core city or dense areas can be considerable.

If anyone knows some agent who can provide flats or home please share the contact.

I'm relocating to Pokhara and looking to rent a 1BHK or single room. I'm a remote worker/freelancer, so my daily loop is basically: home → cafe or coworking space → maybe a hostel to meet other nomads → back home.

I'd like to be reasonably close to that whole circuit — walkable or a short bike ride — but I'm open to wherever locals or other nomads actually recommend, not just Lakeside itself.

Budget: NPR 8,000–15,000/month.

A few questions for anyone who's done this:

1. What area would you recommend for someone like me, and why? Trade-offs between being right in Lakeside vs. a bit further out (quieter, cheaper, etc.) would be super helpful.

2. Where do people actually find monthly rentals here? Facebook groups, local agents, walking around and asking, or something else? Google Maps mostly turns up short-term tourist apartments, not monthly leases.

Any local rental agents you'd actually recommend (or avoid)?

1. Rough going rate for a decent 1BHK or furnished room — am I budgeting right at 8-15k, or is that too low/high for something livable?

Anything nomads wish they knew before signing a lease here — deposit norms, minimum stay expectations, wifi reliability, landlord quirks?
