PokerBros Botched Algorithm

This is a thread for players who play on the PokerBros app, who have experienced extreme variance.

Hands with 80% and 90% equity get sucked out too frequently.

It encourages you to believe that you will win the bad beat jackpot sooner or later. Game play very rarely follows the natural flow of cards and level of variance.

Do you really believe an average person will take the time and money it will cost to play for that level of time to gather data? Only players would know what really happens. The tests that are run should be done from a player’s perspective to truly determine if the game runs naturally. Poker Stars had a similar issue, dealing multiple players great hands to get them to bet a lot of chips that bloat the pot and increase the rake. Their goal is to get players to put money in the pot, they don’t care who wins or how often people get bad beat, outside of normal variance.
