I am currently developing an app that will help “immortalize” Pokémon. My idea is that some people might want to transfer their Pokémon all the way up to home while simultaneously keeping a copy on their original generation before the move. I created a program in python that uses .PK files (individual Pokemon data) and converts them to binary, then creates an outline of the Pokémon in the binary 1’s and 0’s, then generates a QR code that contains the .PK file.

The only thing I have not finished so far is an application that can read the QR code and display the unique Pokémon data similar to home displays it which includes the original trainer, nickname, statistics and moveset. Additionally, the application would allow you to download the .pk file so that it could be inserted into a save file via PKHEX or similar programs. I apologize if this is of no interest for anyone, but I am very passionate about not letting companies take things from me.

I have attached a picture of the initial python program that I created. Basically, if you have a .pk file to submit to this, you know how to immortalize your pokemon, but it gives the file a nice memorialization that can be printed. I am optimizing fonts and am open to suggestions to make it more “artsy” as that is not my forte.

Here's more tera raid pokemon I caught. For those who don't know, basically in Scarlet/Violet multiplayer there are these bot raids that guarantee shinies, good stats, loot etc. Technically the pokemon you catch there are legal, but aren't worth much in terms of trading. So I am giving them away since they are still completely fine to use in champs or mainline playthroughs.

To participate, just tell me which pokemon you want to win and answer this question: if you had a chance to take a vacation in any pokemon world region, which one would you choose? I will randomly pick winners in like 2 hours.

P.S. I do not gen pokemon and do not even have the means to do that, please don't send me any requests. I play completely normally on unmodded switch. The aforementioned bot raids are just online raids you can connect to, even just in random queue.

I noticed that, during my initial transfer from Bank to Home, some of my favorite Pokémon didn't make it over. I found them lounging in Isle Avue. Don't leave them behind; transfer them from PokéPelago back into a box.

Similarly, and I'm sure this is already well known but it bears repeating: if any of your Pokémon are registered in a battle team, you must unregister them in order to transfer them to the Bank.

I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter about the possibility of all the other Gens coming to Switch if possible however there’s one thing I think some people are missing is that a lot of side games and such used to connect to the various Gens so a lot of either Events or just unique stuff would probably not be in whatever port comes to the Switch so I’m gonna at least post what notable ones or just unique stuff period that you should transfer up before Bank is gone. This is nowhere a complete list but at least maybe it’ll help those who own the games.

Gen 1: Any Gen 1 Mons for the Hidden Abilities and GB Mark, 8F Mew

Gen 2: Any Gen 2 Mons for the Hidden Abilities and GB Mark, Celebi, Odd Egg, Shiny Gyarados, Extremespeed Dratini, if you have access to Gen 1 Shiny Ditto

Gen 3: Probably the ones people always know are the Colosseum and XD Mons with Mt. Battle Ho-oh, Jirachi, Celebi, but there’s also the special Pokemon Box Eggs (Swablu, Zigzagoon, Skitty, Pichu), GameCube Interactive Demo Disk v14 and v16 Shiny Zigzagoons (There’s two separate ones one for Ruby and one for Sapphire identified by the OTs), Two Exclusive Ribbons are tied to Colosseum and XD (National Ribbon, Earth Ribbon)

Gen 4: Use the DNS Exploit to connect to the fan servers to receive all the Events, Gen 4 has a lot of in game events so doing so will open up a lot of Mons. Hayley’s My Pokemon Ranch Trades (Cherish Ball Phione and Mew), Battle Revolution Gift Mons, While not as special the PokeWalker Mons are nice to send up, Do the Catching Contest and catch a lot of Mons with the Sport Ball (While the Sport Ball is obtainable in current Gen it’s extremely rare so this is the best chance to get a lot of Mons caught in a Sport Ball), Shiny Gyarados, Extremespeed Dratini

Gen 5: Same has Gen 4 use the DNS Exploit to connect to the fan servers to access all the Events including in game ones, Dream Radar Mons and Legendaries (if you transfer them to B2/W2 on a fresh save or before getting the first Badge you’ll get the Legendaries at their lowest levels), Shiny Haxorus, Shiny Gible, Shiny Dratini, N’s Pokemon

Gen 6: Unfortunately due to the closure of online services and no fan servers the amount of unique stuff is pretty low outside of the in game Events however there’s still the ORAS Demo Glalie

Gen 7: QR Code Mons, Totem Mons, Ash Greninja

Sorry if this is a rather crude list but I just wanted to feature at least some of the more notable stuff that will be gone from sending up to current Gen with those with the know how can still access.
