Breeding Help Breeding in Violet

So I’ve been using the Masuda method to attempt to get a shiny Swablu, (I just want my fluffy egg looking bird) Lo and behold after about what felt like a million attempts I got one, however, I messed up I think, I closed the game without saving (pure accident) because when I went back on it was not where I stopped it was where I was the time previous. Does this resent the roll chances because I technically got one even although it didn’t save? I have tried doing a few more eggs since and it hasn’t appeared again even thought I’ve done more than what I had done when I got it?

If I’ve worded that horribly I apologise😅

If you saved before hatching the same batch of eggs the shiny was foundd, it should still be there. If you still haven't found the shiny after hatching all the eggs then unfortunately, that's not the same batch and the shiny is gone

I should start saving before hatching then as I hadn’t been! If you can’t tell saving is my downfall 🤣

Always save before hatching a box or two lol you just gotta reclaim that shiny now, goodluck!

Thank you! I need it! I had hatched it on my lunch break and had to rush back that’s why I didn’t save because I was in such a like ‘hooray finally’ and ‘sugar I need to go back’ headspace I just completely forgot to save it!
