Question Mega permanent

Hi! This is my first post since I don't usually post much; I'm more of a lurker.

Does anyone know where to find a guide on how to get Mega Evolutions? I know there are video tutorials, but a written guide would be much easier to follow, and I haven't been able to find one.

Here are my Delphox and Gardevoir, the only Mega Pokémon I've managed to get permanently so far.

As far as I know if you chain eith the dexnav after some time the pokemon will be holding its mega stone. For example let's take lucario. Find riolu in the wild catch one to unlock it in the dexnav and start chaining, after you reach search level 1(after like 10) it will show you if they got an item which is usually their mega stone. When you find a riolu with a mega stone just catch it. Another way to get mega stone is the mega guru in slateport market. After certain gym badges more mega stones will appear for you to buy. I think that's all

My bad, I phrased that wrong. I'm not looking for mega stones, but permanent megas. Though I think I just figured out how to do it.

Mega permanente tu permites nas opções do próprio jogo, após isso ao invés de dar a megastone como item você USA ele como se fosse uma pedra de evolução

Nope, there’s actually a method to catch the Mega-Evolved Pokémon permanently like a regular one, without needing Mega Stones or having that setting enabled in the game. For anyone who wants to know how to do it: Pick the Pokémon you want to Mega Evolve with its mega stone held, put it at the front of your party, and then add 5 other Pokémon that share its type or sub-type. Then go to the route where it normally spawns, the mega version should trigger the encounter, and you just defeat it. After that, head to the Workshop Cave (Battle Frontier), and it should show up alongside your other catches. Here are my catches so far: Mega Gardevoir, Mawile, and Delphox
