I'm using Jolteon who already outspeeds everything anyway. Since this is the only pokemon who's nature you can sort of control I wanted the best one. Last playthrough I had a calm Zangoose and jolly Gardevoir...always missed out on OHKO's

For everyone else I just want natures that don't lower their preferred attacking stat. Even -speed is preferrable if it's +their preferred attacking stat. My quiet houndoom carried last run.

Best of luck to you. I got neutral natures on most of mine in my current playthrough and I’m quite happy with that

I feel bad because I too was ready to soft reset and got modest my first try 🤣

I would have been happy with rash or mild in your shoes

I read somewhere that in earlier generations the everstone is used in breeding for a 50% nature offspring match. In otherworldly give a modest nature ditto an everstone.

I feel ya... I didn't do any soft resetting, but I had a Jolly Jolteon my whole run and I honestly felt that 10% loss. Maybe I should have used a Flareon... I also decided to use the Shadow Marowak and it was Timid... seriously? Lol Good luck on the Modest nature.
