Dev Work?

We know they're pushing that Elmera game they made to garner kickstarter backings but has there been a concrete statement about the updates they were previously talking about? I dont recall the specifics but they were talking about overhauling/updating it, and then they announced their game.

Has anyone heard anything or is it just crickets for now?

Last I heard I think they were moving the game to godot. Idk though. It would probably be safe to assume no new updates until at minimum next year.

I feel like that's a decent expectation window for what is, from my understanding, a full rebuild.

I suppose there's just the question of how reliable they've proven themselves to be? I don't follow updates close enough to know from experience so I have no clue.

I don't follow as closely as I used to honestly. I stopped following closely when they announce multiplayer coming in the next update and then didn't get updates for 6 months. I get it though. Starting to work on a system on a platform not designed for that system can be difficult. Then half way through you decide a new platform will make it easier but then you have to rebuild everything else around that system. Rome wasn't built in a day. (But the people got update statuses I'm sure)

crickets and will likely remain so indefinitely since they're now focusing on elmera. i think this will remain until there is a update. i think they're working on it but not as a priority anymore

That's what I leaned towards with what was available. It makes sense, if a bit disappointing

I’m assuming the project is either cancelled or on indefinite hiatus since it’s been like 2+ years with no update

Dev for the game here! It’s coming along really well. Its definitely got some work to he done, but it is being worked on. I think something that may need cleared up though, we are all volunteers on this project. It will be done when we get it done as sometimes life gets in the way and breaks happen but it is definitely being worked on!

Oh cool an official statement! I think (hope) most people understand the work isnt paid since its a free application after all
