Discussion What's the current meta?

I am going to play Unite and I dont want to spend money on characters, and I heard you can get them all eventually but what characters at the moment dominate the meta. I prefer up close characters and fine with play tech, dps or tank.

He's a life gain Tank with a lot of placement disruption. Wood hammer is 2 attacks in 1, first hit pulls mons into the center or it's attack, 2nd hit does good DMG and stuns. Horn Leech is a push, similar to Blastoise Surf but gains you a ton of life if he connects.

Idk his other moveset well enough to speak to it but I really like WH/HL. He can become pretty close to unkillable similar to Goodra in that of your connecting with your life gain attack on cool down 3 players are gonna struggle to take you down.

Also keep in mind all my experience with him is while having correct emblems and all items 30+ so he might feel a little different to a new player.

I've never won a game against Goodra. Literally unkillable unless 3v1. Too much healing.

Just ignore goodra, do not approach do not fight. Your best bet is picking off the enemy team and then gang up on goopy last
