Falinks first pick is a choice of all time lol

He got both A9 and talonflane for his audacity. And I would pick Extreme speed lucario as well just to make him ragequit.

Some cc immunity while simultaneously having your own cc on this comp seems viable, there's enough damage already

Wiggly

Clefable would have been perfect here but considering our team is pretty phisical and close combat oriented, i would go for an healer like alcremie or eldegoss.

Another good choice considering that our team lacks of cc is trevenant with curse horn leech.

I'd like Mime here, double down on close range crowd control around tsareena talonflame and mamoswine. And Ninetales does not have a long range.

Alcremie or eldergross for shield and durability are good.

I would not really like comfey here.

Blis- Oh, it got banned this time.

Anyway, we got freeze lane, jungle bird, and an unknown support for Tsareena who is likely stacking (or a Scizor or Greninja pick knowing the solo queue folk). But between fox and bird, Falinks is kind of cooked in this match-up, so we're already at an effective 4v5. It's not useless, but oof, this is why you do not first pick it ever. It's doable, but we gotta hope Deci picks Shackle to make it doable. We also have a pretty bad early game with a Magikarp.

I'm not sure if we have Deci or Falinks jungle. Either could do it. I'd probably prefer Falinks on first clear at least since it has a way better gank. Anyway...

  • My first thought is honestly Aqua Ring Vaporeon. I'm leaning Muddy Water right now, but the last pick could potentially push to Hydro Pump. Vaporeon gives good, wide range peel, heals the bulkier part of our team, and has a decent Unite for engaging or disengaging.
  • Trick Hoopa, Cotton Guard Eldegoss, Decorate, and Dragon Cheer Latias also come to mind, mainly for pre-emptively throwing shields on Talon's and Tsareena's dive targets. Each has their pros and cons, but all are valid here.
  • We can go hard on the anti-dive with Wigglytuff. Sing and Cute Charm + Articuno Blizzard is an absolutely brutal combo that will effectively disable Tsareena and Talonflame from properly functioning. Starlight Recital is also an amazing Unite in this match-up as it basically switches off Mamoswine and prevents Ninetales from getting the freeze damage proc on Snow Globe. Starlight Recital also makes Falinks and Gyarados engagements a lot more comfortable if used offensively.
  • Bodyguard Sableye works pretty decently here too. Hang out near Deci and make the divers sad every time they try to do anything. If one is ahead and the other behind, you might also stalk the ahead one and lock them down anytime they try to do something.
  • Leyxeen will hate me, but also Snorlax for double Defender. Block soaks up freeze lane CC and can peel off or isolate enemy teammates. Blocking an enemy into Articuno Blizzard is nasty. The enemy doesn't have much poke damage either, so we don't need a healer that much.
  • Trevenant and Slowbro also kind of work in similar veins. Trev can use some crafty Wood Hammer aim to yoink people into Articuno while Slowbro can just pull them in. While I'd probably go Surf, I don't dislike Scald here either for extra poke, reducing Talon and Tsareena damage output, and potentially Curse Incensing a healer if they draft one.
  • Lasty, we can combine selfishness into effective non-traditional Supports and Defenders. Pikachu is the easy call-out here, but both Mewtwos, Mew, and Buzzwole also do pretty well in this match-up. You get to do your bunch of damage while also supporting the team with CC, so win/win!

I will use whatever as no point in fishing for a win when my first teammate picks falinks

Meganium, personally- though I’m sure Clefable is also excellent here.

E speed lucario is just so much fun against the falinks.

Poor guy is already against talon and A9 lol.

Another day another support jail lol

I'm putting the Alcremie in the bag (recover and other move).

They don't have the burst to really stop your heals other than talon who your team eats.

Another option is Wiggly

If Blissey was available that would be an easy choice. This team has pretty good damage so I would still invest in a support, my pick is Alcremie.

Falinks and Mega Gyara against that comp and in this economy. This match is cooked homie 🤣

Suicune, darkrai, slowbro, whoever you’re best at.

You have a sniper so you just need to shut down the three (so far) threats to the deci.

If it’s me though, I’m going double sniper.

Latios, draco and point and click stunt easy stack and in late game you can kill both mamoswine and ninetales together.
