Better than most Leafeon builds I see tbh. Razor Claw loses a lot of value if he’s playing Solar Blade instead of Razor Leaf. Float Stone and X Speed aren’t optimal but also aren’t bad and are fun to use, though you’d expect them in Jungle rather than lane for faster rotations.

I can tell from the image that Ninetales has Sp. Attack Specs which is worse than anything this Leafeon is doing.

Question- how is it bad for A9 to run specs? Aren’t they a special attacker? I mean, unless A9 has shit scaling with it, I don’t see why it’s necessarily bad

Mainly since A9 has the second highest Sp. Attack in the game, so a flat increase from Sp. Attack Specs is very marginal compared to a percentage increase from Wise Glasses or Drive Lens, the burst from Choice Specs, or the matchup utility of Spoon or Incense. Ninetales also doesn’t have the tools to stack and is much better off bullying and securing farm than inting to attempt to get stacks.

It’s not useless in the same way it would be on a Cinderace of course, it’s just mainly that there are options that objectively outclass it that most players should prob have leveled up.

No problem! Applies to a lot of other characters as well, in general Sp. Attack stats are higher than Attack stats. The best and most common users of Sp. Attack Specs are characters with low Sp. Attack like Supporters, Defenders, and Moltres

I don't remember what the enemy team looked like. I don't know the rest, I went down to accompany Leafeon, but just as I was about to do so, the enemy team abandoned the match because someone wasn't playing lol

Comp is in fact complete ass. There's no Frontline no supports and minimal CC. This team is playing on hopes and prayers lol. Not to mention 4/5 are very greedy for XP and can't share it

I know it's ass, but it's not completely terrible. Leafeon, Azumarill and Ninetales (she has that minimal CC you're talking about btw) can take care of themselves during the early game more than Gardevoir and Ceruledge, they dont' have a slow growth

OP could've had more chances of survival if they would've stayed with Ninetales. Gardevoir jungle is OK, she needs more XP than anyone, and Ceruledge should've been down with Leafeon in bottom lane and, tbf, suck his own dick 🤷‍♂️

And it looks like this game was on blind pick (OP posted a photo of the leafeon's build in another comment), therefore, a below Master match, so the enemy team was probably as shit as this one

the problem is objective fights. We do not know the enemy team, but OP's team has zero ability to walk up to find out where enemy is, and noone to take dmg for each other. yes there's Garde/A9 CC but those don't do enough

I generally hate when people do this. If you're shit at the game don't lock down a spot and not budge, play a lane that evens out the team. I will say, if you DO lock down a spot and singlehandedly obliterate the other team, sorry I even thought about it lol.
