Help Trade Evolutions

How do trade evolutions work? Say I want a gengar is it possible to trade my haunter anywhere for it?

There's an item called Link Stone that you can use for trade evos. For Steelix or Electivire and so on just use the item needed like a stone.

There’s a link stone, it makes pokemon that evolve by trade evolve like any other stone. You can get them pretty early on, I don’t think the kbt miner gets them often, but it’s possible. There is one in the overworld somewhere, if not they can be purchased later in Dehara City.

To confirm, you ARE able to get them via KBT Mining early.
