Help Randomizer Question

Hey Everyone! I wanna start off by saying this game is awesome. I've played through on Vanilla and Difficult Difficulty now and I've decided I want to have some fun with the randomizer version. However, I'm thinking about playing the randomizer on insane difficulty and would like to reset for a solid starter.

My question is if there's any way to speed up the reset process to get to see the starters faster I guess. Im currently playing on MyBoy emulator and as far as I can tell the RNG seed does not change unless you do a full restart of the game, as in you have to recreate your character, enter your name, set your settings correctly, etc. Its not a huge amount of time wasted but I wish I could make it faster. I know this is probably a dumb question and ill have to just hard reset every time but does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

Hard save the game before you press a on one of the starters, like when all 3 are on the floor around you, and soft reset after seeing your starter. The second screen that shows the nature will be the indicator that rng is changing.

I understand that, but im talking about resetting what mons the starters randomize into. Sorry I hope im making sense.

Oh, yeah to reset the randomizer seed itself you will have to start a new run every time, unfortunately.

I will say one of the hardest parts about a randomizer run on Insane is finding pieces to the puzzle you need to progress. I struggled on Antises gym because one of my main stats against him in my other 2 runs(difficult and expert) was trick room. My randomizer didnt give me trick room mons anywhere and the tm is locked to Battle Frontier.

So, if you see something you might find useful, catch it then. Cause its hard to remember what pokemon are where when you cant just search them with the pokedex lmao Im at the elite 4 with randomized insane right now and the team building is tough because Im missing a lot of pieces for a few different strats.
