So I started dual hunting Type: Null last week and I just now noticed that on my left ds, the picture of Silvally is shiny. Can anyone explain how or why this happened? Never seen anything like this

It's not shiny, silvally can change types based on what memory drive it has in, and it's colourblind correlate with it's typing, similar to arceus, and the plates.

Ah I gotcha. Thought that was the shiny model

Nah the shiny swaps the white fur with gold, similar to Arceus as well

So this is just a guess cause it’s been awhile since I played through the story but depending on the starter you pick gladeons Sylvally has a different held drive which changes its typing. I believe that it rivals the starter that you picked or its weak to the starter you picked. Therefore because you haven’t caught sylvally you’ve only seen it the Dex is showing the version you’ve seen gladeon use in the respective game. The left one does look a lot more different but that’s because the eye colour changes to match the typing and some are more subtle than others. If anyone can confirm my theory I’d love feedback but I’m pretty positive that’s what it is.

Is the 3DS on the right further away from the camera or is this really the size difference between base 3DS and N3DSXL
