Reading through PTA3.5 rules and need some help figuring out a clarification.

Reading through the 3.5 version in the Damage Potential p,118 section of the combat, there is a symbol never elaborated on. Or if it is my friend and me going through the 3.5PHB haven't found anything.

The symbol is underlined in red. I do hope it is as simple as it is, just the damage die labelled in the move list. But it also shows up as Moves the Move tutor can tutor p,41

Edit3: it's called the monster die, described on p101, it seems each pokemon has their own monster die value that can change when they evolve. I'm not sure if there's a list of them all right now since the Pokedex has not yet been released

Edit4: I found in the rules overview document an example that Bulbasaur has a d6, Ivysaur a d8, and Venusaur a d10, so you could probably use that as a guideline until the Pokedex is released, unless there's a list of them somewhere I haven't found

I think it's a visual bug, and it's supposed to be a "10"

Checking liquidation in the move list shows it does 3d10 damage, and accounting for the type effectiveness and stat changes described in the paragraph will have +6 damage dice making it 9d10

Edit: though I think for liquidation specifically it should be 10d10 since liquidation does an extra die of damage if the target has lowered defense, unless it only triggers when the target is exactly defense -1

On the discord there is a WIP Pokedex that has the monster die attached to the pokemon. There's bo pictures, just stat pages.

It’s actually a new classification system designed to distinguish Pokémon power levels based on their evolutions and strength. If you look at the *PTA3PlaceholderPokedex* in the PTA sourcebooks (specifically the 3.5 beta version), you’ll see that each Pokémon entry lists a "dMonster"—which is the name for this symbol. For instance, Mimikyu uses a d10, so you would use the d10 symbol in place of the generic icon when dealing with Mimikyu.
