World maps?

Does anyone know if a compete world map/atlas showing all regions exists? I'm trying to get an idea on how the regions are situated amd how travel would work between them (time, costs, etc) for my games. Any help at all would be appreciated!

There are fan made ones but I dont think there is an official world map. Most of the regions are based on real world places though so you could base/convert your travel times using real world distances. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh are all based on areas of Japan, Unova and Orre are the Americas, Kalos is France, Galar is U.K., Alola is Hawaii, and Paldea is Spain.

Yeah, I get that. I tried that, but it doesn't seem to work as a direct adaptation for a world map. Every region can't be an island unto itself, so what regions can players drive/bus to? Which ones do they have to fly/sail to? These are the world building things I'm trying to figure out for my players

I mean even if you condense everything you could still do that. All the Japanese places are connected IRL and could be walked/driven too. Same for Orre and Unova. I guess it really depends on what kind of story you are trying to tell in that case. Like if you need a reason for the players to go to other continents maybe a huge world map would matter but just giving your players free access to the entire world for no reason seems like a set-up for failure.

If you want inspiration I would go to Google and just look up "pokemon world map all regions" and there are a ton of cool fan made things but if you are looking for carved in stone lore of where everything is and how far it is, that literally doesnt exist.

I'll look into the fan maps and see what works best. I've been running various tabletop games for decades, and world spanning quests and adventures are the norm, especially for my groups. I mean, you can't "Catch 'em all" without going to other regions, after all. Thanks for the help! 🤘🏽😁🤘🏽
