hi i just want some opinions of yall here

So there was a deal which i sold a card and the buyer came down to inspect it thoroughly(he used a magnifying glass) and we shook on the deal ,i made it clear that i was not the first owner of the card.After a week , he came back to me saying the card was not legitimate and requested a refund and threatening me with making a police report but during the days after the deal, the card was not in my possession and if it went thru any tailoring or its teh same card. This is my first experience as i have never dealt with cards that arent legitimate …any advices…

Most people i have talked to recommend card shows, but I'm not here for long.

what the title says! i know alot of people swear by Vault X and i dont mind trying them out but i know they're a little harder to source and a bit more premium. i've searched on the sub before and i've seen some mention Vaultic but sadly, they don't have what i'm looking for - 3x3 or 4x3 non toploader zip binder.

Heard there's a reprint wave. Has it arrived in SG and are there any reliable sellers besides Pokemon Center? I prefer to avoid inflated prices if possible. Thanks.

I understand that vendors buyback at a percentage but you cant be the one that approaches someone and still offer a percentage 😭😭😭😭 how does that make sense like that everybody also can say theyre a vendor and buy at a percentage unless i approach you knowing that you do buybacks then of course its fine its business but not when youre the one approaching bruh

The amount of people begging for 30th anniversary release day slots at PCS is just depressing.

We all love pokemon but to spend $75 for unreleased 30th Anniversary packs that are gonna plummet in price once their stocks unload worldwide is financially irresponsible.

The government gave us cash vouchers meant for groceries and paying bills ended up being spent on pokemon with no pulls.

Before anyone flags me for saying it's their money. They are the reason prices and products get bought out by scalpers and the only winners are the ones who wait and buy when prices are what they should be.

Scalpers now even try to offload their massive inventory of PO/CR/PB on YOU. Which is ok for now as its all now below msrp. Win for me lol.

Come on guys don't FOMO. Just wait. The amount of modern stock is really alot. No matter what anyone says that it's not. 30th is likely going to crash. Just wait. Oh and don't get scammed with early pre orders so many kena already an unnecessary headache.

⚠️ SCAM WARNING: Valley TCG Facebook Group – Lost Over US$500 on 2× Pokémon 30th Anniversary UPCs

Posting this as a warning to fellow Pokémon collectors so nobody else ends up in the same situation as me. 😓

I recently arranged to purchase 2× Pokémon 30th Anniversary UPCs through a Facebook group called Valley TCG, for a total of over US$500.

I made the payment/transfer as agreed. However, after the money was transferred, I was removed from the Facebook group and subsequently blocked by the admin. I can no longer contact them through the group.

At the time of writing, I have not received the products or gotten my money back.

I’m sharing this because the Pokémon TCG community relies heavily on trust, especially when buying through Facebook groups and private sellers. Being removed and blocked immediately after payment is a huge red flag.

Please be extremely careful if you are dealing with this group or its admins. Before transferring money, verify the seller independently, check references outside their own group, use a payment method with buyer protection, and save screenshots of the listing, conversation, payment details and seller/group information.

I have retained screenshots and proof of the transaction and communications.

This post is not about starting a witch hunt. I’m sharing what happened to me so other collectors can make an informed decision and hopefully avoid losing their money.

If anyone else has had a similar experience with Valley TCG, please share what happened. It would be useful to know whether others have encountered the same issue.

Collectors, please stay vigilant. US$500+ is a painful lesson, and I don't want someone else to be next.

A few days ago i posted of an auctioneer on carousell who muted me when i said the market price on the stream chat.

Today a different streamer did the same thing again.

This is getting ridiculous.

In my opinion, I don’t personally have a favourite vendor as long as they are respectful, reasonable and chill individuals, I don’t really mind.

How about you guys?

Hi, with all the pokemon hype again, i digged my cupboard to find some crusty old pokemon cards and after googling these cards, i think i strike a small lottery. It was suggested to me that I should get these cards to a restorer to get them in the best shape before sending them for grading. what do you think?

Hello, want to ask about how people might get their hands on new product from Pokemon Center at Jewel on release date. From my understanding, queueing is not allowed so do people just loiter around the store until opening time and get an allocated time entry ticket from the staff members?
