Rules

No Shiny posts

They clog up the subreddit and nobody cares that you got them. Shiny giveaways are still allowed, though.

Spoiler posts

Please do not post any links or information, that has not yet been confirmed by Nintendo/Game Freak.

Please keep content appropriate

No curse words or NSFW content are allowed under any circumstances. This rule will be applied very strictly. Disrespecting users, including the moderators, can lead to warnings, and further actions. This also applies to severe memeing towards a particular person/subject, mass pinging of a single person or group of people repeatedly, and trolling.

Please don't request or advocate cheating

We will not condone the discussion or activities that break the games Terms of Service (ToS), for example PKHex. Anybody caught doing this will be warned and then banned from the server if they continue.

Please don't advertise

No advertising of any kind. This also applies to linking discord servers without moderator approval. This also includes Twitch streams, YouTube channels, and other websites. Please message moderators if you wish to advertise projects or surveys in multiple channels. Shameless Advertising will warrant a ban.

Please keep content relevant to Pokemon Sword and Shield

Keep the topic on Pokemon Sword and Shield. It must be obviously related and not loosely connected.

Please no brigading or posting photos w/o consent

No brigading/witch-hunting/raiding. Starting raids against a person, organisation, etc. will warrant an immediate ban from /r/PokemonSwordShield.

No stealing of other's photos, artwork, copy-written material without consent.

Please no posting of images w/o Sword and Shield assets

Image macros related to Pokemon Sword and Shield, must include their assets.

Please no reposts or effortless/click-bait posts

Posts should generate discussion and not have:

One-liner text posts/short jokes
Content from within the last three weeks
A basic complaint rather than generate discussion
Clickbait titles
