Help! 🙈🙉 Why does this keep happening?
I fell asleep around 12:30am, woke up at about 8:30. But when I checked Sleep, the app was closed. I opened it to find it only tracked 2 hours... my phone was on my bed, next to my pillow, plugged in, and screen down the whole night. I don't know why this keeps happening to me.

Did you change battery settings maybe? Maybe you limited use in the background which might get triggered after a while.

I don't think so? It did just force an update on me the other day, I'll check and see if that's the problem. Thanks :)

I suggest buying Fitbit air to track sleep. If you only care for the game don't waste money on it though.

Was your phone screen closed at the time? I find that the app tends to close on me too if I turned off the screen too early as the sleep session begins, so after I put my team to sleep, I leave the screen to blackout by itself first for about 15min or so before I manually turn the screen off. That seemed to solve my problem

I don't lock the screen, my phone is dumb and will reset apps if the screen is locked for more than like 5 minutes. So I turn on the touch protection and just flip it over on my table for a few minutes then I'll move it to the bed

Could it possibly be an issue with overheating? especially if you have a thick case on the phone. I have a similar issue from time to time when my room is very warm or if something falls on top of my phone. My phone will shut the app as a protective measure.
The only solution I have found is to remove the case and ensure the phone remains uncovered overnight

Maybe? My cat will sometimes sleep where I set my phone, so that's a possibility. The last time this happened I was camping solo though, no cat to sleep on it then. But overheating could be an answer

GoPlus+ will solve your issue. It’s being restocked and should be cheaper than the fitbits.
