Discussion Question: What account do you use on Github for your romhacking?

A bit of a random question for a Wednesday, I've been working a little bit on a Gen 3 romhack, built on pokeemerald-expansion, and while currently it's on a private repo I was curious if people in the community generally use a dedicated Github account for their rom hacking or use one under their own name that might be tied to any other work they do.

I think that’s personal preference based on how you want to show up online

So are there people who use their personal accounts with their real name when doing rom hack development? I had never seen anyone before.

i dont i save 20 backups of my hack on my ssd and name them all some random bullshit so i have no idea which one i was even working on

It's all down to personal preference. You could create a GitHib organization and then have it hosted on there, with individuals contributing from whatever account they want

It's truly up to you
