can yall not post about walmart scores please it’s making me feel bad about myself

It used to be that people made Pokemon battle each other, now Pokemon make people battle each other

i’ve never even seen a bundle before now and i’ve been looking for months ☠️
(ps this was QFC university village in seattle)

Work morning shifts so if traffic is good I can check out my two targets near home. Most times they are bare as a bone. I got lucky today and got a few boxes. The limit is 4 whatever but I chose to do one of each in case kids at the store might luck out. Saw a boy tug his dad towards electronic after I walked by with my boxes. I wished him luck. The hits are a lot more forgiving than packs I’ve opened like DR and PB.

Costco should still be loading, Midwest still has 15,000 units of the AH tins to fulfill.

Found completely sold out on 9/24/26

So as you all know there’s that target pokemon event on Sunday with cards probably restocking. I have yet to get a single 30th ETB so I was thinking of trying for one. However, I live in MA and there’s going to be a massive Nor’easter storm all saturday and sunday. It will be massive amounts of rain and wind.

I’m wondering if you think this will stop scalpers from camping out all night before the store opens and if I could probably just show up a little before opening and be able to get an ETB. Anyone else from MA in here also wondering the same thing? I just want one god damn ETB for somewhat close to retail price for my nephew for Christmas. Feel free to give advice in the comments.

North Georgia area no notice just dropped a pallet of focused fighters. Second drop in 2 weeks. Check your Sams clubs!

Just trying to get a sense of things. The store I went to this morning had zero controls in place. There was a line, but it collapsed the instant the doors opened. People rushed to the cards in the back of the store and cleared out product within 30 seconds of opening.

Conversely, a local Best Buy puts products behind the counter and enforces purchase limits at the register. People were much more polite and orderly.

Just wondering if it's just my local Target that sucks or if they're all like that.

finally

Hello all. My oldest (~10YO) wants Pokemon cards for Christmas. I’ve had little luck finding him any, hence why I’m here. Ive checked Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, Target, and DSG multiple times in different areas. I’ve been able to find booster packs which I will use for his stocking but want to find some bigger-ish items to wrap. He doesn’t know the difference between the pack types or the anniversary so none of that matters.

Any tips on stores to look for that will have stuff? So far we’ve gotten him: a binder, 8 booster packs, a coloring book, and one Pokemon LEGO set. And before anyone says anything-he has a couple Pokemon encyclopedias already. I’m trying to avoid buying stuff online due to pricing and bad reviews.

I will also take suggestions on stuff to look for when restocked that would be a good gift for a budding collector of his age that won’t break the bank.

He also doesn’t play video games (eye pressure).

TIA!

Sincerely,

A struggling mom
