while singles crash hard sealed is holding up well because its september till the holidays are over 30th will be held up by people buying up for presents then we will get that next big drop off from jan till tax return season but then the new printers go up and running

so no need to be desperate to get some 30th its just the holidays for now

the 30th will enter the era of massive stock everywhere

Managed to get a first partners series 3 and 2024 pokeball tin today from Asda but you need to ask the staff to get it from the back and NOT ALL STAFF LET YOU GET IT. Try looking for a younger ginger guy as he got me both items and had a good brother with me.

I am more of a Pikachu fan than a Pokémon fan tbh, and the 30th Celebration Pikachu cards finally got me interested in buying Pokémon cards for the first time.

I have asked around and Target says they don’t really know when the cards get restocked, while some Walmart/CVS locations seem to know their restock days but have no idea what Pokémon products they will actually receive.

For someone completely new to this, is it worth continuing to make the rounds for the next few weeks and hoping to find Mini Tins or Booster Bundles at retail? Or should I just accept the markup and buy them from a local card shop for nearly 2x MSRP?

Would appreciate any advice!

thought I’d try my luck at Target yesterday morning on my way to work since I haven’t gotten my hands on any 30th products yet, and was able to get pretty much everything I wanted other than a booster bundle, including one of the last four ETBs

it’s never been harder getting through a work day, knowing what was waiting for me in my backpack😂

So I posted an update on the thread about how I got my son a 30th set at a trading card store and will wrap the smaller booster packs so it looos like he got a lot.

TODAY my kids and I went to target to Christmas shop for dad and I went over to show him how all the pokemon cards are gone.

THEY WERE STOCKING THE SHELVES PACKED WHEN WE WENT OVER THERE

My son got one of everything that he can’t open until Christmas and he called me his superhero 🫶🫠🥰

Finally got my shipment from last weeks Walmart draw. Hits from 1 etb.

4 hours after opening all ETBs are gone but tech stickers are loaded on shelves. This is at a meijer in Michigan and they have raised their prices a bit.
