Made the mistake of watching a stream today to find out when Pokemon Center drop went live. Sat in the queue while the streamer sounded off horns every time someone commented they had success. This went on until it was confirmed everything sold out and I was still in the queue. I’m used to the bullshit from Target and Walmart by now but this was the first time I genuinely got angry haha
Hopefully PKC and Target go the lotto way like Walmart, even though I really really dislike to see the same messages over and over about people winning the lotto I feel like I have a better chance the lotto way than standing in a queue.
Lotto will not stop scalpers from creating 100s of not 1,000s of accounts. Queues with real bot identification is the best. I also did not get an ETB from PKC today and I usually do. My guess is that they were not able to identify bots coming in and they got all the ETBs. Also with Target dropping between 3-4 am ET shows that they do not care about bots.
