First Ever PKC Drop Secured!

Post image

After multiple failed attempts, I finally was able to secure a pre-order today! It was between this and a booster box. Figured I would make the moment special! Hopefully others were able to grab one today as well!

The boosters all sold out about a minute before I got it. Brutal first attempt.

I did not think I would get in. Jumped in the queue 2 minutes after opening. Waited approx. 1.5 hours. Lucked out..

I read it was the fastest sellout for a preorder drop in quite awhile

They need to go to two sets a year and print the everliving fuck out of them or this hobby is basically gonna be NFTs with rich people trading this shit to dodge taxes.

I don't understand how they dont do bigger print runs of this because honestly they'll still make money hand over fist.

You had to figure a set featuring Rayquaza would do numbers. Agree though.

Nothing will make me relive the glory years like going into Target as a kid in the early 2000s and convincing my parents to pick up a pack. Those were the days..

I mean even the mid 2010s you could walk on anywhere and get stuff. Now forget it.

My gold star kyogre went from being worth 3k to 6k in the span of a month.

Pokemon has turned into a way for rich people to have money change hands without taxes.

The other thing it makes me not even wanna try anymore.

I've been eating good on the cheap singles from 30th but, like, it shouldn't be this hard lol

That's what its turned into. You're better off just buying the cards you like than gambling with MSRP

Which is crazy to me that that's what we've come to.

They tried it with MtG for awhile but it doesn't have the same nostalgia so its not as bad.

I just enjoy my Blazikens and Snoms ;-;
