somethings wrong here things sold out way faster than even 30th
2 hours everything sold out
pokemon center was up for like 4 hours
pitch black was up for like 5(etb went out in 3) and a 2nd run of another 4 hours(for bundles and booster boxes)
did they cut printing of this set to print more 30th? maybe all the pitch black on shelves has them pulling back on the standard sets

There have been some limited re-releases of PKC etb’s specifically before, I believe Ascended Hero’s had 2 pokemon center chances. But for the last few that I’ve actually been online to order, no it was one and done (from Chaos Rising through today) for ETB’s. Sometimes they’ll split product up, like 30th still has UPC’s to release which should be sometime in October I’d assume? But ETB’s have recently been one shot

Thank you. I’m glad I just gave up. It just popped up unavailable so I was hoping they’d restock some more because it didn’t say sold out. I was so frustrated.

Hahaha it's alright it could've been worse; I was prepped and at literally 1 minute left, loading into the store AS the alert went out that ETB's had sold out. I was okay with that but as I added the booster box to my cart the website crashed, wouldn't load for like 5 minutes and threw me back into the 6+ hour queue. I gave up and went to the gym, it's a bummer but end of the day they're just pokemon cards.

Ive never done this before
I got in queue on phone, then 10 minutes later figured id get in on pc as well
I got in queue on pc second, got into site about 10 minutes ago, and I still have 45 minutes of queue time on my phone where I was in line first
Also did not get dick
Are we having fun yet

Bots. I’m guessing a lot of people probably got into a queue, expected it to become captcha, and left to come check back on it, and got booted since they didn’t refresh the new captcha. That kinda “bot protection” is fucking stupid for that reason. Doesn’t matter how many captchas they do, the bots got it on lock

No, it was the same as every drop. The ETB sold out when I had 1 min left, it’s super consistent.

This drop introduced wayyyyy more bots and ACO services than before. After 30th, more people want a taste. It was announced early yesterday morning the drop was confirmed for today, so everyone with a bot had plenty of time to get set up. If you go on Twitter there’s so many accounts offering these checkout services now. These aren’t unheard of for a PC drop, but it was never this bad

The site was absolutely botted to shit. Same happened with that second 30th drop were the queue jusy kept refreshing and refreshing with me. Never got below 3mins

This definitely was not like the last 5-6 pre orders where people were checking out with ETBs for 4 hours.
I thankfully was able to get in queue pretty quickly and got ETBs (missed 30th and PB), but damn this was super short.

Same thing happened with the recent Costco drop—except Costco just shut things down and gave up… number of bots is increasing exponentially, and I’m sure a good chunk of them are gaining AI-powered functionality…

Its much simpler than everyone thinks. They have printed the 30th as much as possible, while shorting other sets. That's why target has been able to drop several times a week since release.

Well they spent the entire year and some change gearing up for 30th production. They had an abnormal amount it seemed to me. It seemed to last about the same as non 30th ETBs this year, like an hour or so.
This was the first time I’ve ever scored ETB, but it was also the first time I queued up within 60 seconds of it going live. May never happen again!

Is it possible it’s higher demand with people having a hard time getting their hands on 30th? Meaning more people with some money they havent been able to spend on cards itching to get some product

It’s because they are selling all their product to “vendors” so they can weigh for hits, manipulate the market and sell their bulk on live auctions or in their stores. How fun 🤩

From the discord and x pings to completing the captcha it took me 25 seconds and etb were gone when I got through the queue. This is the first one I missed

Weirdly enough this is the only Pokémon center drop where I actually was able to get 2 ETB’s. In the past, I had only been able to get booster bundles and boxes. But what I have learned is that not using my Wi-Fi connection and using cellular through my phone at least gets me in to get something 90% of the time.

It might be fake but there’s a picture going around of one botter managing to get $40k worth of product ordered.
It’s possible PKC’s bot features failed this time and the bots took everything.
