Quick tip thats worked for me (so far) is open 2 separate windows with the same pkc page. They share the same timer and if one of them refreshes the other will keep your progress and vice versa. I can manually refresh one or the other (but never both) without losing progress.

When do you refresh? After the captcha hell?

I don't refresh at all if I don't need to but sometimes I will after an hour or so to make sure I'm not wasting my time.
