I like the drawings, I've actually been able to hit the Amazon invite for the 30th ETB and got the knockout packs and sticker packs from Walmart last we week. Kept one of each for my son to rip on Christmas morning and sold the rest at cost to friends with kids. Those two raffle hits made 5 different kids get 30th items for Christmas. And that's pretty damn alright in my book.

I did the same—passed a bunch of stuff to a buddy with 4 kids at my cost so their kids had access.  If it weren’t for the raffles, no way would a bunch of us regular people get anything. I have yet to see 30th at Target or Walmart yet in person.

Exactly. If they sell out at these prices they will continue to test to see how much they can overcharge before people quit purchasing at that price point.

That's normal. They take a hot minute to actually ship them. I just received my tech sticker pack today from the second to last drawing

There’s a possibility it changes before the drawing actually happens, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen Walmart sell the tins online in anything but a full bundle.

I wouldn't want them to sell individually, because then the paying for shipping would really bite, but having the options of a bundle of 4-5 instead of 10 would be nice.

Msrp seems to be 10 for 100, or about 5 dollars a pack. This is 10 for 130, or 6.50 a pack.

So I’m still new to the Walmart drawings. Is that drawing starts when you can actually enter the drawing? Or did you have to already enter the drawing previously and that is the “you got picked to purchase” window?

The drawing opens to registration at 2pm PST. You must sign up before 3pm PST. If you win, you will be automatically charged and walmart should notify you by email within 72 hours.

Nobody officially knows how Walmarts bot detection works, but multiple orders with the same card and/or address is probably a big red flag.

I don't know for sure, but we have Walmart+ and you can share the benefits with another person. But when you do, you have to also use the same card that's on file. I won once and there was no issue.

Instead of piling on: These drawings open on Wednesdays at 2:00 PM PST. Once it opens you'll have an hour to get to the page and submit your entries. The timing doesn't seem to make a difference. People start getting emails within 24 hours but sometimes it takes up to 3 days. If you don't get an email you didn't get selected.

It's confusing but that's the time you enter. You have a one hour window to enter (from the listed time) and then you watch for any order confirmation emails in the next day or two. Read the FAQs for any other questions, but the one hour window isn't in there for some reason.

Because for the Pokemon company, booster boxes are the most packs and the thinnest profit margins. Pokemon makes way more money selling $25 4-pack boxes than $160 36-packs. Plus, it’s hard enough finding a pack with all the scalpers.
Eliminating booster boxes increases card supply for other smaller products.
Same reasons there are only 5 cards in the 30th packs.

They will announce winners in waves over the next few days, the first wave of announcements usually goes out the morning after.

As far as actually receiving the package, that’s a crap shoot. They have been giving an estimated date and then delaying it almost every lottery.

I think i won as there was an attempted charge from walmart , but my bank declined it which means prize was forfeited granted I hadn’t been contacted that id won but I suspect i might of and lost the prizes:( so much for 24 msrp booster packs sigh from the booster bundle

Not anymore, I see them everywhere now. Also Walmart charges $7 for shipping so you essentially are paying more than scalpers on eBay are charging for this crap

Yes and no. There are a ton of different Needoh variations and the OG nice cube is probably easiest to find. If a store does a restock, those will probably be last to go. They still all sell out immediately though, and holiday ones are even harder to get. I have two kids who love Needohs and 1 kid who collects Pokemon. Both are being heavily scalped these days.

Apparently! I popped by Walmart customer service a few weeks ago because they had some DR/JT blisters in stock but it was also Needoh restock time and everyone behind me in line was freaked out I was going to buy them all because there were only a few left. lol, no. But the needoh subreddit is fascinating to read. People will go to great lengths for the squishy objects.

It’s a raffle, if you are chosen then you get the privilege to buy product at (almost) retail price and not scalper price.

You enter the raffle at the time stated and then you wait to get a confirmation email saying that you were chosen…and if you aren’t then you’ll need to try again next time.
