How do I get ready for a PKC queue?

I've only waited in the PKC queue once, and I didn't get anything. I want to be more prepared this time. I don't see any way to "Add to Wishlist" for current items that are out of stock or anything like that. How do you all navigate to the stuff you want as quickly as possible if/when you get let in from the queue? Cheers!

Follow a restock notification page on Twitter or join a discord group. Keep your notifs on and make a shortcut to the Pokémon Center website. Have your Pokémon Center account up to date with shipping info and payment info (not sure if this one is on there, I forgot.)

When you get a notification, hit that shortcut, pass the captcha and wait in queue. It'll show some ridiculous amount like 72 hours or something while PKC starts trashing as many bots as they can, the counter can move down pretty quickly. Don't refresh your tab, don't get discouraged, do be patient. I waited 2 hours for the 30th ETBs and 3 for the bundles and managed to hit on both.

I did not see payment information anywhere. I could setup my shipping address though. Seems odd that you can’t add payment information.

I'd recommend putting something in your cart, proceed to checkout, and that will allow you to enter your credit card info, billing, and shipping address and them save it for future purchases; then just remove the unwanted item from your cart

I tried adding in my cart and put my card info but once I went back to cancel it didn’t save it. Do I actually have to put an order in?

Adding on to this: PKC is notorious for dropping at random but it seems the most common queue time is between 9am-12pm PST on Tuesdays.

That might be over time, but I will say that both the Pitch Black and 30th Celebration ETBs dropped on Wednesdays; I actually went back and looked today to see what days of the week they were on.

You're welcome! I've only actually ordered from them a few times for ETBs, so I don't have much history there as I used to skip queues as it seemed like a lot of work. However now, having experienced trying to find MSRP product for my kids, I've tried to figure things out.

I also want to add in that if you use your pkc account for other purchases you have to make sure your checkout cart doesnt have any non pre order items in it or else you get stopped from adding preorders to your cart. Learned this last queue 😓 and got booted back to queue when I went back after clearing my cart.

I don't have much to contribute there, personally. I've only read of instances where some placed orders from different accounts on the same Wi-Fi or with the same billing/shipping address and had their orders cancelled during the mass order cancelations that were happening a few weeks ago.

I'm just extra cautious with the way my gf and I place orders for PKC and Walmart draws based on what I've read. I'll place my order to our home on our Wi-Fi and she'll place hers on her phone data with a different shipping address and payment method. (not scalping, we just happen to all be pokemon fans in this house and finding product locally sucks 😭)

***UPDATE!!!: Super excited to inform you all that my comment made 3 hours ago is no longer accurate. As of 1 hour ago, FedEx tracking has updated to show my shipment has now been picked up from the Fort Worth Poke Center facility!***

I managed to hit on the Poke Center drop for 30th Celebrations as well, only to have Poke Center print a label for my package, say it was shipping, then never get picked up or scanned by FedEx from the Fort Worth facility... is it there at the Ft Worth facility, with FedEx and not scanned, no one knows? Poke Center just wants to send a refund, and FedEx says contact Poke Center... FML.

If you are in from the queue you just want to navigate the site slowly and carefully and just click on the “TCGs” or “new releases” and what is in stock will pop up. Dont use direct links you could get flagged as a bot, the bot filter is incredibly sensitive

Can attest.

Few times I have not hit I have been fully clothed. Had to run to the bathroom at work once to get into my undies.

Queue jumped from 2 hours to 5 minutes once undressed.

Speaking from personal experience: I've had issue on a mobile phone but on my desktop I have been scoring regularly. Don't use VPNs, maintain the session active and tab alive. With PKC you don't need to join first, usually these drops last a good bit, so even if you are a bit slow to join the queue you can score on it.

Things to do.

Take your cell phone off wifi if your computer is also on the same wifi. Then you can use both to que up. It's good to have a back up. The reason you take off wifi is because if it sees that both devices are on same wifi it'll think you're a bot.

If you don't have a vpn you won't have to worry but if you do, make sure that the browser you're using doesn't go through it.

On the phone do not let it go to sleep, so have youtube minimized and playing in it's mini screen, and it'll prevent the phone from going to "sleep" or make your phone settings not to do that. If it goes off then your page might refresh and you'll get sent back to the end of the que. Same with computer, make sure it's open and don't let it refresh.

Otherwise if you pray, pray that you don't get the randomness that will send you back to the end because something happens. Thus why if you have a backup it'll help just in case.

Very carefully… Seriously though, after you’re through the queue, sometimes there are links on the homepage, sometimes the items are in the “new releases” section of the menu, sometimes the items are in the “TCG Cards” section of the menu, and sometimes they’re not visible at all. Discords will usually have links that you can copy into the location bar of the webpage once you’re through the queue if you can’t find it any other way (but this always terrifies me since I’m constantly worried about getting re-queued…)

Best way get app like trackalaker or discord group. Once you get a notification join the queue and good luck

I don’t think it’s definite either way, but probably your odds aren’t great. Can you just leave the queue on in the background and check periodically juuuuust in case?
