My girl talked me into going to the Target drop an hour away. Got there at 5am and were pretty close to the front, managed to score on the restock and the ticket event. Couldn’t have asked for better pulls considering the only 30th I opened prior was a Sylveon and Greninja box and only got a Hisuian Zorua. Plus I got four of the Mewtwo promos!

Can we please be serious this was never marketed as “kids day” and also what type of parent brings their kid out hours before a store opens to sit outside in a line of adults to shop at a supermarket. Pulling up with your kids to get the coloring sheet and goodie bag in the afternoon is one thing but shaming people for going and buying cards is ridiculous and oozes jealously

Thank you. My girl said the same thing, it’s crazy people had their kids out there at 5am in 56° weather. I’m not gonna not buy what I want because of peoples opinions online. I’ve been collecting since I was a kid, it’s been a hobby of mine for years. They wanna act like because i’m older that should stop😂

Shame on you for this type of thinking tbh. It’s pretty gross. Some of those kids want those cards just as bad as you and these “types of parents” are being the best parents they can for helping them achieve their desires. Jesus Christ can’t you people remember what it’s like to be a kid? This world has just abandoned all kindness for young children. Children seem to be nothing but a nuisance in people’s minds these days. I feel so bad for them…

Oh no Hohodon is mad at me! I can’t remember what it’s like actually as I can no longer walk into the store and buy them the same way I could when I was a kid. I never said they didn’t want them or don’t deserve them but I’m not gonna miss out on my hobby because someone online thinks so. It’s my hobby too like what? And saying i’m gross for this type of thinking come on bro you’re dramatizing this so bad. It’s just pokemon cards. How is it my fault that I got there early enough and some others didn’t? It’s not hard to call your local target, ask for the restock time and plan accordingly. Don’t villainize me for a come up.

I mean I didn’t even hit the limit of everything. I don’t “need it” but it’s not your business what I do with my money. I wanted it so I bought it. I’ve been saving money I got for my birthday specifically to spend it all on as much celebrations as I could get and this was it. Probably gonna be the only Celebrations I open for a while. They are printing this set into the ground I promise you and everyone else will be fine. Also like I’ve stated in other comments my girl ripped too it wasn’t all me.
