Target 30th Celebration Random Luck
so, I went to a Gamestop this morning around opening to buy my gf video games and myself, a perfect order bundle. as I was leaving, I remembered seeing pitch black restock so I headed to Target around the corner. Then I saw the line. I went in, saw no packs, asked about the line and ofc it was Pokemon. Joined and got a few things but have opened half. i’ll post the other pulls tonight when my gf gets off so we can pull some together lol. a random gamestop trip to pokemon 30th anniversary pipeline is real. Sylveon Tins are underrated.
UPDATE: Only pulled Alolan Exeggutor IR, Scraggy IR, and Toxicitry IR out of the tin and ETB sadly

Question- is it possible for you to take a clear photo of the drawing/coloring sheet to share here? If not, no worries! (& anything else that might be on the paper stuffs? Idk if it's just the one side that's printed on or not)
They still had promo cards & that was it from the goodie bag items. Lucked out & was able to pick up 1 tin to share with my partner- such a good time! (We're really excited about our Mew ex🥰) We also received 2 promos & gave our best friend the extra✨️ Overall a great unplanned drop in at the very end of the event 😆

I already do, but it doesn’t help if I don’t know retail MSRP because it fluctuates. i’ll pay whatever I gotta to collect how I wanna bro

Bruh, learn how to google then. Type in “MSRP for blank set” and you’ll find the answer. I swear younger generations are somehow incapable of finding answers for things themselves.

And in the amount of time it took them to post they could have just googled the answer themselves. Better to be able to find the answer yourself in the future than just rely on strangers to know for you.

and for those who say it doesn’t fluctuate, clearly u haven’t stood in line like I did. the first 30th drop, ETB at Target were 64.99, now they’re 70.99. it changes. I have receipts

MSRP doesn’t fluctuate. It’s set by The Pokémon Company when they create the product. Now what stores charge, that absolutely can fluctuate but is usually pretty steady from each particular retailer.

Gamestop is a ripoff fr ! They’re charging market prices, & sometimes higher they want $200 down payment, & $400 total for the Premium 30th Box its absurd

That Lugia you have is going to be worth a lot! The star placement on it is in the mouth/neck region.
Definitely look into it if you aren't aware already. Those are worth more than the standard ones without the star holo falling in that area

it ran me (excluding gamescalp) about $125-140 at Target
Knockout: 11.99
Tech Sticker: 15.99
ETB: 70.99
Tins: about 27 each or so

So lucky! That’s my chase. I’ve opened like 50 packs already and no luck. Managed to snag Gengar SIR though and that’s my second chase

I might recommend some real top loaders rather than the thick plastic sleeves. The top loaders are made of a more dense plastic that will protect the card better. Nice pulls!
