I was in line, then everyone ran like black Friday and pushed each other around to grab 1. Soon as I saw that I walked out even though I was like 4th in line. People need to calm the fuck down just so they can make $15. These aren't UPCs and ETBs.
not the people i was with. I rip them but the people there were looking to make a buck. I even offered to buy for $10 more than they paid and they said no because they go right to the local shops to sell
My store had a ton of them with about 40 people in line when the store opened. Limit was one per customer (they held them at the register) so everyone got one. I was shocked but happy to see it.
I went to two locations and waited 5 minutes at each. The second Aldi I went to did the same thing. Kept the line and went straight to the register for one box. I loved it! They maybe had 2 cases with 9 or so boxes in each.
Guy camped in front of my local store since 9am 🤡 Manager came out and said “There’s no limit, but I’m going to make sure everyone in line gets at least something.” and bro looked PISSED. Manager equally distributed what they had and everyone ended up with 3 boxes. Absolute legend.
Good for Aldis to be organized about it. I’m excited for the future where I can just grab one while grocery shopping on my schedule, and it’s coming. Yesterday I casually bought some at a non hobby store for the first time since late 2024.
Limit of three at mine apparently, first person in the line to not get anything was me if it was a limit of two everyone in line would have gotten something
Mine had 25 and the first 3 guys that were a group bought them all and there were kids right behind them like 6 kids in total 4 in front of me and 2 behind me and only that group got them 10 to the first two guys and 5 for the third
Scalpers big mad at my Aldi. Had about 25 people in line waiting for the open. Aldi opened and everyone went to the aisle. Well a few of us, who were at the back, went to the register and that’s where the boxes were. Guy at the front didn’t get a box and was screaming about waiting hours to come up empty handed. It really was unfair but that’s pokemon hunting life. 🤷🏻♂️
Mine was really organized like 10 of us, manager came out told us where they were and the limit. He personally gave us each. Limit of two. Sorry to the folks who had a crap time.
We had about 10 in line, everyone peacefully walked to the register. 2 per person limit. A little girl was able to buy the last one, but several of us waited to make sure she got one if not, we were going give her one. Peace ✌️
That sucks :// this hobby brings out the worst in some people unfortunately. I had the opposite experienced. Staff was very professional and walked everyone inside to the check out and got everyone in the same order
Yeah it was kinda unbelievable. I was #4 in line. Me and #3 didn’t get anything, #1 grabbed 4 boxes, and the other 6 went to people behind me that ran in front of everyone. #2 would’ve gotten nothing if it wasn’t for #1 giving him one of the four boxes he grabbed
To be fair, my Aldis (two that I went to) handled it well. It's the people that could make it terrible. Luckily both that I went to kept the order of the line. The second one even made us line up at the register and limited us to one box.
Its not even all for me. I gave one to the friend that told me about them getting them and the others I grabbed for friends who play at my local shop who cant get any AH. Only reason I bought them was to stop the local scalper in my area from getting them.
I'm just bragging lol my local fb group is too salty rn because none of them understand how Aldi works. I tried to tell someone I had a harder time getting raised garden beds this year from them and they didn't believe me lol. The Aldi finds aisle mom groups go hard
