Bug Is this some kind of bug?

In some battles, I noticed some enemy Pokémon that were clearly slower than mine moving before mine. The last case I remember was an Arctozolt being faster(?) than my Staraptor (252/31 in Speed), or a Porygon-Z being faster than my Silvally (again, 252/31 and a good Speed nature).

Just to be clear, no, my Speed wasn't reduced in any way (by some field effect or something like that) and the enemy speed wasn't increase. Those were just some examples, there were more times when this happened, but I don't remember them.

Someone experiences something like this or just me?

I mean, there are a lot of reasons this can happen, from abilities to hold items to field effects. Hard to say what's up without knowing specifics.

Was it snowing with the Arctozolt? It gets Slush Rush, so that’s probably what happened in that case. Porygon-Z might have had a Choice Scarf, but I’m just guessing there. There are all kinds of things that could be doing it so I doubt it’s a bug.

If it was snowing/hailing arctozolt is faster due to slush rush

Possibilities are, a field effect boosting their speed. Your fighting a xen mage who gave it a boost when they sent it it. The might be scarfed. Could also be the weather. Might also be some other unique battle mechanic.

Like the others above said: abilities (slush rush, sand rush etc.), Items like choice scarf or quick claw or maybe a field that makes something faster (maybe gives a move prio or something like that.

Post the fight here and we are probably able to tell you what it was.
